I read an article a few days back that FIFA are considering bringing in retrospective suspensions for diving after reviewing videos.

I reckon that would be a fantastic idea as it would go along way to stamping this crap out.

Chelsea lost to Leverkusen, Leverkusen lost to Barcelona, Barcelona lost to Chelsea, so that makes who better? Basel beat Manchester United and Bayern (In the first Game) does that mean Swiss football > All?

The thing that makes football so great at this level is that any team can beat another on their day.

As a Chelsea fan, the Ribery/Robben threat concerns me and I'm not celebrating a win just yet. Going to be a good battle.

Not too fussed about Real losing, we were never going to take both La Liga and the UCL in the same season. Still, hopefully Mourinho stays and this is the beginning of the return to the better years.

No need for apologies PA. There was a mass of over reaction by some sections here who are desperate to shit on Barca at any opportunity and I notice the majority come from fans who have seen their team demolished by Barca recently.

As a lifelong Chelsea fan we have been blessed these past 7-8 years. These really are special occasions. Occasions not every club's supporters get the opportunity to be a part of. Of course this would probably never have been possible without Abramovich's takeover of the club. However it doesn't make it any less special seeing your club appear in arguably the biggest football match on the planet. These days might not be around for ever. You only have to look at club's like Leeds and what can happen in time.

Guys like Frank Lampard, they really are heros of Chelsea football club. Drogba, Cech. Cole, Essien, Terry (even though hes not involved) they have really waged a lot of great battles in this competition over the years. They have never quite been good or lucky enough. This is the last chance saloon to lift this trophy for many of them, and perhaps for Chelsea the last chance for some time. Luck has certainly played a factor in us reaching the final this year.

We are again rank outsiders playing in Munich and with suspensions to key players I wouldn't say Im confident of victory. However I know these senior players especially are going to be magnificent and do the supporters proud on the night.

These guys have been written off a few times as too old, arrogant and player power etc. If we happen to win, it's the most memorable and significent night in the history of the football club. Good luck Chelsea! Show that true Chelsea spirit one last time!
