CL is dog shit until the knockout stages, always has been.

Zenit are great to watch, any side user Spalletti is. I still see they dominate matches but concede goals, much the same as Roma were under him.

OM v Arse is the worst CL match I've ever seen, this dire piece of crap is Serie A worthy

I caught the extended highlights, I have to say though, Valbuena was the exception though, he's a real livewire and very dangerous when he's in possession. He should be a regular in the French XI...

might as well get some late predictions in then...

Racing Genk 1-1 Chelsea
Valencia 2-1 Bayer Leverkusen

Arsenal 1-1 Marseille
Borussia Dortmund 3-2 Olympiakos

APOEL Nicosia 1-1 FC Porto

Viktoria Plzen 0-2 Barcelona

Unlucky, though it will be closer than the Stamford Bridge leg...

Dortmund/Olympiakos is the TV match where I'm at, should be decent. For mine Dortmund has THE best stadium in the world, can't wait to see a game there one day...

Westfalonstadion contains the best atmosphere aswell it's a shame the Arroganz Arena is fan unfriendly unlike the BvB because it really is an incredible experience.

Arsenlol v OM on SBS

Zenit v Shakhtar, Genk v Chel$ki and Plzen v Barca on ESPN

Of the four matches there are three utter dross matchups that were total stinkers last time out

Allianz Arena though I think is obligatory for any football fan. I'm not a fan of the sci-fi, hi-tech stadium, but it really is unique and I'd love to see it up close. That said, I think the highlight of the visit would come from standing outside rather tha on the inside!

Westfalonstadion though in many ways is the opposite, a nice big no-nonsense stadium where all 80,000 people are as close to the action as possible...

I love some of the stadiums of continental Europe (San Siro, Bernabeu, Camp Nou) because of how steep the grandstands are... Wembley and Emirates Stadium look the complete opposite...

That's all down to Hoeness and co strong arming the Südkurve and silencing the noisy ones who do more than cheer the team. Biggest team in the country treated like they're English by their own club

Volksparkstadion is another awesome stadium where fans are free to be fans. ArenaAufSchalke is supposed to be good but the UGE are out of control peasants like FCN fans.

If you want to soak up atmosphere then St Pauli is where it is at, absolute nutters.

out of control peasants usually make for a good atmosphere too...

Not much to say at HT, Dortmund are winning, but neither team has looked convincing...

and Forza APOEL! Would be great if they could hold on to the lead...

Glad APOEL got up, also nice to see Racing Genk bounce back to get a point against Chelsea...

Can't believe Arsenal and Marseille between the two of them couldn't manage a goal in 180 minutes... Boring as batshitt...

Last match was the worst CL match I've ever seen, it'll be criminal to have one of them go through at the expense of BvB

Not these violent thugs who will stomp out innocent people for wearing the wrong colours, a blight on the German ultra scene

Yup, the fans need to be treated better. Its why watching Rugby is so much better. I can stand up and have a pint when watching the Rugby, but then i turn into a criminal or something when i go to the football the next day!! Its all about money though.

Shalke is a nice stadium. Nothing to set it apart from the other large stadiums in Germany though. So not worth a special effort. Its also in the middle of 2 towns so there is very little around it.

Arsenal won 1-0 in France. But yeah i agree. Boring. Group stages usually are where the big teams are concerned.

Where, in England? At FCB it's about a protected species who lets the people know who is boss and nothing to do with money at all.
