Mariuz was a Boxer in his youth and has a brown belt in Kyokushinkai Karate and also play's Rugby Union in his spare time.first of all good luck stripping Mariuz down to 265 pounds from like 320, he literally has to lose 25kg of muscle because if you've seen Mariuz without a shirt on, there's not much fat there.
Secondly being big and strong doesn't guarentee you success. Mariuz has no martial arts background and has been doing nothing but heavy weights since he was a boy, which is counter productive to your speed and mobility. People think Lesnar is just big and strong but he is a world class wrestler and was a collegiate heavyweight wrestling champion. Mariuz might be big and strong but that won't help if he cops a head kick from Cro Cop
he's had 1 fight in a Polish MMA promotion, but me thinks he'll end up in Pride due to the UFC's 265 pound weight limit

Btw I agree with your earlier assessment. From all I've seen of Mariuz, I wouldn't call him a good athlete, while Brock Lesnar has always been a tremendous athlete.
Still would pay to watch the Polish Hammer fight.
Same here, the atmosphere was amazing when sots took on joe daddy, awesome event, cant wait til they come back. That was one of the best events i've ever been to live.
Not a good athlete are you kidding me??? Do you even know who he is?
Agreed. It was f**king amazing. That was one of the best events i've ever been to live.
I was in a corporate suit and it was amazing, awesome view, the atmosphere was insane. How nuts was everyone going for Wanderlei SilvaAgreed. It was f**king amazing.
We even had the $50 tickets, but f**k me I couldn't ask for a better view. We were second bay from the top but right at the front, we saw everything just about perfectly.
Although next time they come will definitely get in closer to feel the atmosphere even more.
Mariusz Pudzianowski vs. Tim Sylvia set for April 23 in Boston

According to the bostonherald.com:
Pudzianowski has won the World’s Strongest Man title a record five times. The 33-year-old made his MMA debut in December and this show will mark his U.S. debut.
Also signed for the card are UFC veterans Rich Clementi, Yves Edwards and Houston Alexander.
"This will be the biggest card ever done, probably in the Northeast," said [promoter Corey] Fischer. "The UFC is coming here in August and they’re going to have a hard gate to beat. I think this fight card will be better than what they’re bringing."
"It’ll be on pay-per-view and shown live in Korea, Poland, Canada and about 14 other countries," said Fischer. "This will have more viewers than (the UFC’s) show."
As of now, Moosin will be the first big MMA organization to come to Boston. As announced earlier, Bellator Fighting Championships will head to the Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre on May 6 and the UFC makes its Massachusetts debut on August 28 at the TD Garden.
