Very pro American / pro 'World Police' too.

Germans murder Jews, Russians and Poles systematically engage in the most awful discrimination against them prior to this...And we should consider this 70 years after the fact when the survivors grandchildren and great grandchildren are engaging in Apertheid state building against Levantine Arabs?

It's a line of logic I don't follow. And in many respects the Israelis are doing their level best to evaporate any sympathy that still remains around those awful events in the middle of the last century.

Nothing sacred, Drew. It's funny how quickly the children of the murdered forget what it was that got them their Holy Land back and put them in a position where they can embark on their own Genocide.

I mean, I know they're God's chosen, but I doubt he'd be on board with the wholesale slaughter of the people whose land they essentially stole with influence.

Pretty grim, eh? It stuns me that the parties responsible for putting Israel into place have allowed the Israelis such freedom to basically take what they want and oppress the people they are supposed to be sharing the land with.

It could be that the Israelis see their actions now as being justified by their past plights. I wonder if they still bear ill will towards the Egyptians, or if it's just the Holocaust and resulting shit-storm their presence in the Middle East has created that justifies their general merkinishness these days.

I'm suggesting the Jews who suffered through the Holocaust still didn't deserve what they got despite the horrific actions of the Jews today. What the Israeli's are doing is wrong, no arguments there. But what the Jews went through in the Holocaust was wrong too. Their behaviour now doesn't warrant joking about that.
