but should it been condemned and judged?

we are, after all, only animals.

I think too much emphasis is put on the importance of sex and it tampers with the minds of young men and women.

As long as its consensual & their is no deceit from either party on the intention then I cant see a problem either way.

I don't think so. I just don't get on board with the high fiving (or 'get it girl' equivalent) that goes along with it.

Get your dick wet or your clunge plunged, but it doesn't make you an awesome person. Have some discretion.

See, that to me is a different issue. That's not an individual celebrating something they enjoy, that's bro-ism....or, female bro-ism? I don't know, I'm getting drunker as this essay progresses.

Why not celebrate it? Celebrate whatever makes you happy IMO....

Because everybody else doesn't need to know any more than they need to know how big a shit I did, how many times I masturbated yesterday, or how much I earn. Nobody cares.

And that's the issue feminists have with it. You're reducing women to a number or, at best, a conquest that you and your friends can dissect the details of. It encourages the kind of brashness in which guys grab the ass of a pretty girl or say something out of line to impress people.

Really? Wasnt there a thread pretty much based on your conquests? I dont recall it being blow by blow as such, but referring to notches on the bed post the by state or country of origin seems in opposition to the above.

I dont have a problem with it to be clear, just playing devils advocate.

I think you'll find the thread was mostly me discussing my awful relationship luck. The bulk of it was focused on a trio of girls I dated who did numbers on my heart.

That said, I may have played to the audience in more recent updates. I'm certainly not saying I've never done it or won't do it again. I don't approve of littering either, but I've done it a time or two.

Celebrating =/= boasting tbh. I'm not on board with boasting, it cheapens anything it's aimed at

That's 100% fair and I agree, I just think it's a different issue and I don't think people who seek out a lot of sex are "despicable". But I'm seeing that you meant something slightly different to the way it read, maybe?

It seems, if I may say, more like misandry than equality. She reads like she hates men unless their subservient. Am I reading it wrong or something?!

Seriously, the hatred rolls off the page with Caitlin Stasey...

your grammatical errors have just set the male movement back 8 years.

I'm a bit confused. I thought you were saying it was okay to celebrate?

Yeah, I was ambiguous as to what I found disgraceful. Nothing wrong with a healthy sexual appetite or wanting to play the field. I was more referring to those who make a game of it, hurt people in the doing, and boast about it like they're the bees knees.

I see what you're talking about as boasting, not celebrating. People who do that aren't revelling in whatever it is they enjoyed, they're using it as a status boost. That's not celebrating. IMO anyway

Ah, I erred in using the word celebrating, I guess. It's definitely boasting that I object to, even if I have been guilty of it in the past.

This I agree with 100 percent.
