Exactly my point TV Ted
How we failed to make last year's 8 was disgraceful

I agree that missing the 8 over the past 2 seasons was well below par. That being said, we have now got rid of a few of the passengers that added nothing to the side, some of which you still maintain should have been kept even though they are lucky to get a spot in the top 17 over in the Super League.

We aren`t currently carrying any passengers and you can see the difference. John Morris certainly hasn`t become a great playmaker overnight, but when you have players who are constantly hitting the ball at speed and constantly have the opposing defences worried such as Chris Lawrence and Ben Te`o, you can nearly get away with having an average attacking halfback.

Dene Halatau back to the centres was something that had to be done as we can now utilise his strong ball running and he doesn`t have to worry about being overloaded with defence. Dene is a very good ball runner, but never hit hard enough or often enough when playing in the forwards. I`d be keeping Dene on the wing when we are at full strength, but playing Chris Lawrence on the wing in defence only so he can receive more ball in open play and also use his extra size in defusing the cross field kicks. Dene is showing that he can defend quite well as a centre.

Vish the single biggest factor this year is the balance in the pack imo. Galea, Heighno and Payne bring a lot of solidity, work rate and meat and potatoes type style that we have been lacking.

We are still missing collis who can create opportunities out of nothing and hopefully this season our wingers are awake enough to expect hsi superb flick passes rather than being 15m behind play daydreaming.

Not to mention Gibbs who will excel under this interchange rule and who will play 60 mins plus per game

Payne, Galea, Harrison and Te`o in particular are all hitting hard in defence and forcing turnovers so far this season, something we haven`t had for a long, long while. Even when we won the title back in `2005, we still didn`t force many turnovers.
As good as Chris Heighington, Liam Fulton or Robbie Farah are, they very rarely hit hard or force a turnover. KG is coming of age as I always belived he would. He`s currently going as good if not better than any other prop in the comp.
But don`t under estimate the influence of the brilliant ball runners in Chris Lawrence and Ben Te`o that I keep mentioning. Without these two running onto the ball like maniacs every time it comes their way, our attack would be much more predictable !

Selection issues or not, on the field, they are the best coached team in the competition.

Players in motion, everyone knows where they should be at.

It's just great to watch.

And it should only get better with Ellis coming in next year.

Vicious all i am saying is that his record in recent times with us and with the cowboys has been by and large atrocious. He had a miraculous 16 weeks in 2005 but even in that year some of his decisions were laughable. Who remembers Ben Galea at 9 with Benji Reynolds as the interchange hooker

Does anyone here honestly believe that in 2007 we were not a better side than sh*t like brisbane without heather, f**king soufs, meat and potatoes manly, the cowboys etc. We didn't make the lowest 8 of all time and the coach has to bear the bulk of the responsibility - particularly with his empty threats to drop underperforming players
You have told us a million times about Sheens record…we are TIRED of it..just shut the hmmm up for the next 7 months and most of us will all be a lot happier

Just because you disapprove with some of the way the club goes about its business doesn't mean you don't support the footy team.
Garbage, MOTH doesn’t just disapprove with some of the ways the club goes about its business.. MOTH has shown time after time his hatred of Sheens, his hatred of Western Suburbs, his hatred of the CEO and his hatred of some of the players, his petty little shoulder chip of Sheens goes back to 89, and his hatred of Western Suburbs is wearing thin.. most think he is a fool, all except his 3 mates who he gave birth to once when he had the runs and most of his rants are now well and truly annoying...

no, it would have bee the parramatta eels with Balmain players and the Canterbury Bulldogs with wests players.

thats why the two decided to start their own team, to try and keep some pieces of their identity intact

It would not have been the Campbelltown Bulldogs because the Bulldogs didn't want to play any of the home games at Campbelltown if they merged with Wests. That was one of the main reasons Wests decided not to merge with the Bulldogs. If the merger went ahead the Bulldogs wanted it to be called the Western Bulldogs but it wouldn't have been 50 50. That's why we decided to join forces with Balmain, because they agreed the joint venture would be 50 50.

If Wests had merged with Canterbury it would've been West Sydney Bulldogs or something along those lines and they would've been playing at that new sports ground they were building in Liverpool.

Is it Pension week, you would know, but you must be psychic, the Government does pay me just as they have been paying me for the past 20 years, but not the pension or the dole fool…

and I can do better than dodo prepaid on the $75,000 they paid me last financial year…

I never questioned Sheens record, I said we are sick of hearing your broken record rant on the subject

What those two things we call a home….a bulldozer and millions of dollars needed there, great atmosphere but sadly lacking in so many other ways. When both are up to scratch and we are still not playing all home games at those two grounds, then I will agree…

Your Western Suburbs hatred surfacing again

FACT – Balmain and Western Suburbs merged to form the WESTS TIGERS..get over it… if you don’t like it and cant accept it (which you obviously cant) go watch BRET and nick off

Check out most of MOTHs rants…you will find the same 3 brown tonguing his every rant…

The MOTH and his 3 MINI MOTHs

I'd rather read his posts than yours.

Some people can't handle the fact that MOTH cuts close to the bone. While he sometimes goes over the top, 99% of his concerns with the way the club is run etc. are completely valid.

The same people that sit here are bag MOTH are the same ones who used to accuse all and sundry of "not supporting" the team in the days of those spastics Lamb and Langmack.

I rather read Moths sland on tigers than the pickers any day. Calls it as he see it, calls a spade a shovel and their is some entertainment value. Dont agree with everything he says (actually I think Morris is a 6 out of ten and not a minus 10). Sheens has been the Media's kola bear for years. His results just dont stack up with the raps he been getting over the past 10 years. Now Iam not saying he is bad coach, but he is not the god of coaching that the media is painting.

As for the fruit picker, work on your own game it needs plenty of work forget bagging others
