With no disrespect to the polynesian players. They may produce some good forwards and some good backs but halves and hookes and fullbaks(the more important positions) they are still a long way behind. And please name some polynesian players who have played at the highest level for 10 yrs-like lockyer-hindmarsh-webke-lyons etc...
You wont name to many-Sure there are plenty who have 3-4 good years but they seem to go off the radar.Wiki perhaps Benji marshall but guys like pritchard-puletua are examples of guys who have 3-4 great years and the rest just promises

They are terrific athletes. Some of the stuff you see guys like Vatuvai do on the field is freakish. But you need to creativity to excel in the positions you're talking about. Occasionally a brilliant one like Stacey Jones or Isaac Luke comes along, but generally the Polynesian players are more suited to playing in the forwards and in the outside backs.

I'll be interested to see how Jason Seage and John Hassaratti go this year. I've watched them since U14s/U13s and both are promising.

In my opinion..POH is over rated...or at least, hasn't lived up to the hype that surrounds him..and there seems to be plenty of that..BUT, that is just MY opinion...

He lost 9kg during pre-season last year due to having shoulder surgery. That really held him back in his development. He's has good skills for a big man just needs more muscle

Jason Seage will go good , can play watch him and Jennings get that Sg ball combo going,Hassaratti will not see much game time if any he is way off the pace.

I rate Junior Paulo as well as other that have been mentioned. He's pretty young though and may not make his mark this year. Wait and see

I thought Joseph Paulo was Junior Paulo Junior. That makes the younger Junior Paulo, Junior Paulo Junior Junior.
