Richard McCaw?

All Black no 7

That guy would go great as a lock in our game.

The rest can't tackle.

Ronan O'Gara would be a gun five-eighth IMO. Brian O'Driscoll I'd love to see wearing the 3 for Parramatta.

Christian Cullen would be the an awesome league fullback.
Remember how he used to bring the ball back from the kick and beat heaps of tacklers with his step :)
He would make alot of yards from kick returns.

first player who came 2 my mind as well
but really almost anyone from the all blacks side could make it, particularly there backs.
from ausralia rogers, hewatt, tuquiri, sailor, mortlock, rathbone, matt ghiteau , Radiki Samo , chris latham, stephen larkham , george smith, phil waugh, Morgan Turuinui ...

couldnt see george gregan being htat great at it

i reckon chris latham and elton flatley would both go well in league.
It's a joke right?

I don't think any rugby union forwards could handle playing first grade rugby league. Too slow and soft. Could they handle running up, making a tackle, getting back up and doing it again for 80 mins? I don't think so.

The only backs which spring to mind would be Mortlock and Giteau.

tirunui is always at roosters games

That wouldn't have anything at all to do with the fact that he is a Waverley College boy and was good mates with Ryan Cross and if i'm not mistaken they played in the First XV together.

Almost. Turinui went to Waverley College also but Cross left in 1997 while Turinui played First XV after Cross had left.

I think a fair few backs could make something out of league, blokes like Jonah Lomu, Brian O'Driscoll, Mike Tindall, Joe Rockocko etc. but it's the forwards that I would really like to see have a go (Matt Dunning would probably collapse after the first set lol)

Those who I think could make:
Jerry Collins as others have said he was one of the first players who sprung to mind he's an explosive runner and also one of the biggest hitmen in world rugby there's no questioning his tackling techinique.

Schalk Burger and Richie Mccaw 80 minute workaholics similar to the likes of Hindmarsh and Fitzgibbon.

And even old Martin Johnson would have had a chance if he was a lot younger. :D

Doug Howlett, knows his way to the line
Joe Rockocoko - ditto, very fast, and strong
Mils Miliaina - great ball skills
Carlos Spencer - great creativity
Soseni Anesi - Chiefs flyer with good ball skills
Ma'a Nonu - my pick of the bunch as far as league goes, fast, unbelievable ball playing skills, great off loading skills, a tough hitter on D
Sitivini Sitivatu - match winner
Jerry Collins/Rodney Soloialo - tough hombres, good ball skills, go forward ethic and damn hard hitters in D - would shake a lot of league boots
Sam Tuitupou - Would be able to get over the advantage line, and a terrific spot tackler
Ben Atiga - got a bit of the X factor for mine, I can see now why the AB's took a punt on him from nowhere for the 2003 World Cup
Rico Gear - quick and with ball skills

Then there's young fullas like Roy Kinikinilau, Tony Koomwaiyou, Hosiah Gear who would be great finishers. You probably have one or two ball players such as Dan Carter and Carlos Spencer who would be extremely creative and be able to work the tactics for league, got some other battlers like Byron Kelleher who would make a good hooker. But for mine Ma'a Nonu would be an absolute rugby league sensation.
