Where would Francois Steyn play? Seems a 5/8 or centre, his drop goals would be sick not to mention being able to kick a penalty goal from his own half.

That's true. I mean, i got this off Wikipedia.

Spies power cleans 135kg. He dead lifts 240kg. He bench presses 165kg. Only mildly impressed? Wait, here are some more. He is able to do pull-ups with a 50kg weight between his legs. He can launch his 108kg body 1.4m onto a raised platform, sprints for 835m before slowing on a repeated sprint-ability test and has a body-fat percentage of 6.5. - Ryan Vrede, Keo.co.za.

He looks like Coke machine with legs, yet he would be perfect for rugby league since he's big and fast. Although, i guess it comes down to skills and how to play the game in the end.

Spies is a genetic freak, he's built like a semi trailer but he out runs most wingers.

I'd play him as a 5/8th, he could probably kick it dead from his own 20m line, you could starve the opposition of possession with him kicking field goals from his own half

SBW, Pierre Spies, Dan Carter, Morne Steyn, Quade Cooper, Kurtley Beale, James O'Connor, Radike Samo, Tatafu Polota-Nau, Wycliff Palu, Digby Ioane, Luke Morahan, Bismarck Du Plesis, Liam Messam, Lelia Masaga, Rene Ranger, Kade Poki, Jerome Kaino, Jared Payne, Flood, Ugo Monye, Chris Ashton would all do well in league. I'm sure I'm missing heaps.

Pierre Spies is all a bit Rocky IV. Schaulk Berger has soul.

When you're in the trenches...

A lot of players in the South African pack would be good Props/2nd rowers. Bakkies, Shalck, Spies, Bismark, THE BEAST!, John Smit (would remind me a lot like webcke), Kankowski,

South African pack were made bearches to the AB's last year...

If they're so great, you should rate the AB players higher...

Kaino would be flat out scary in league.

Mealamu would be a prop with the ball playing skills of a fullback.

I would take a lot of the South African players mentioned. Pretty sure they could switch well enough.

Brian O'Driscoll. Sure he's getting on in years but Gareth Thomas is even older and while not exactly lighting up the world he still made the switch and is a regular starter. Though chances of BOD switching codes are zero.

Stephen Ferris, big Ulster flanker. Very big, very strong and not too slow either.
