As a life long Manly supporter I have a passionate dislike/respect of Cronulla especially after they defected to SL, maybe I've softened over the years as I was screaming for them the whole game.
The Club deserves a pat on the back the way they've transformed the culture the last couple of years, and those lifelong supporters deserve to bath in the glory.
UP UP Cronulla!

sharks deserve the riches for the amazing footy they played this year, yes chambers should have passed which looked obvious on slow motion but at full speed maybe a bit harder to do, smith was his usual vastly over rated self , well done paul "mr concrete" gallen

Agreed, the Will Chambers pass is obvious to armchair experts, but happened bloody quick. I actually missed seeing Cooper Cronk was open until Peter Sterling pointed it out and showed the replay. Also Chambers knew they had another tackle up their sleeve and probably didn't want to make an unforced error at such a critical stage of the game.

Also the penalty that Christian Welch gave up close to the Storm line on fifth tackle was unforgivable. Fifita would score the game winning try on the next set.

A very small criticism here but I thought Gallen could have been better in his speech.

He wasn't really gracious to the Storm.

Yeah I noticed that too considering Cameron Smith speech was so gracious. Paul Gallan said 'as I said earlier in the week we wanted it more', he could have left that part out.

really, you're surprised at Gallens lack of graciousness? lol

Harsh on Chambers but end of day that decision was difference between winning or losing. In fairness to the sharks they were the better team on the day and wouldn't have deserved to lose at the death but Storms defence was incredible. 72 tackles for Smith. not bad for an old fella!

Lol, f**k off. People will find any reason at all to criticise Gal.

Cry me a river. I made a rationale point, and you play the Gallan pity card of Gallan gets criticized for everything bollocks and completely avoiding the point I was making.

It's all unfair for Gallan, the World must be against him!!!!!!

Oh I don't know about that , I watched him after the game and after he did a couple of interviews he went around and spoke individually to all the storm players and staff and he was still talking up the storm at 2.00am back at shark park , I thought he handled himself quite well
Fair enough.

But I was talking about the speech which wasn't all that gracious.

Smith was the better sport.
