Look forward to this world cup warm up game, should be interesting to see the USA lineup, hope the 8 USA domestic players get a run alongside the professionals.
Should get a good crowd up in Barrow.

well I'm an aussie, but if you go back to my great grandparents on dads side german and mums side somewhere becomes irish i believe.

Neither are close enough for me to sneak into the team on the grandparent rule - guess I'll just have to play for australia

It might make BBC Cumbria take notice but that's about all you'll get from the BBC. After all RL is "just a Northern game". Just like at the top level RU is "just a Southern game".

Tomahawks are going to be stacked, and be a team to be reckoned with. If they stay close in the games they play they will make it into the world cup. The team has not ben announced but their will be 8+ pro players. And the AMNRL players will be ready to play at the next level.

Never said they will qualify. I am saying I am not going to count them out. If they can stay close in the matches they play they have a chance.

No one gave the Tomahawk's a chance of even scoreing against the Roo's some 5 years ago and they almost pulled off the biggest upset in RL. And this team will be even stronger then that team. All I am saying is don't count them out.

I mean they are going to shock the RL world. Yes they will probally will not qualify for the World Cup. However, if they would it would not be this HUGE surprise. They will have a team that will be able to compete.

the interesting thing anout the repercharge games is that USA go into the games as winners, and every other team has lost games to get there.
On paper Samoa should win - but on paper they should have won a spot over Tonga and Fiji too and didn't.
