Utai to join Parramatta

I have a very reliable source from within the Canterbury club who states that Utai will be joining Parra next year. Imagine Grothe on on ing and Grothe on the other. While where there we should also go for Ben Harris.

Great news in my opinion.

Another rumour :roll: ......no offence Avenger, but i'll believe it when i see it!!.....there is a thing call anti tampering laws...and Parra wouldn't wan't to be fined $250,000, wouldbe great but i seriously doubt it.

If the rumour has come from within Cantebury, it's possible they gave Utai permission to negotiate before June 30.

Seems like a rumour. Not a bad player and could be a good aquisition for the club, I think Canterbury would be doing a lot to keep him though and Smith doesn't seem to purchase players from top clubs these days.

Mate, I'd love to see it happen, BUT:

(1) I doubt Canterbury would release one of their best attacking backs and keep El Masri who is ordinary at best but has great kicking abilities;

(2) I doubt he'd want to join Parra; I've heard him tell people how he isn't fond of our dear, beloved club

But if your source is 100% confident and reliable - that is EXCELLENT news.

That's something we are lacking - another powerhouse winger who actually goes looking for the pill when he wants it and calls for it when he wants it.

Actually Thurston hasn't left the club at all!! his back at training at the dogs.
