He played well. However, I think he could be in strife from our powers-that-be for putting flair into our attack. That's unheard of in our current team. His show of glimpses of attacking ability will no doubt have him back in NYC. And didn't his NYC replacement, Wells, show his Cronulla spirit.....two attempts not to tackle saw Parra score two tries and streak away at the end. Another one with contacts in high places, I guess?

His flair gave us arguably the best penetration we've had all year and seemed to take the pressure off the others somewhat. However, when they made breaks they often seemed to be all at sea and stuffed it up. Probably the shock of getting into the clear. No doubt those with the pull will have us back to 5 hitups and a kick in no time.

Great debut. Reminded me of Gump on a couple of those penetrative gallops. I wanted to yell out: "Run Forest Run!"

I think the bloke who played opposite him might of got a bit better service than our bloke did chewie.

Despite him not having a great season I can't see Flash getting punted from fullback. He's a high profiler player, our coaching staff are clueless and gutless and the media continually talk him up. During Panthers game Ben Ikin compared him to Billy Slater. Seriously do the media ever watch our games?

Don't get me wrong. I was a huge Flash fan. Always felt much safer when he was at the back compared to Gards. But it's time now for the change to happen. Holmes has to play FB now and Flash needs to play somewhere else in the back line or in NSW Cup.

The snoop is back after a well earned break(head bang against a wall)

Firstly I'm very proud of my boy Val. What a debut that was in an otherwise diabolical effort by the team. I'm not here to blow smoke up the kid's ass but I have been calling for this to happen and he has proved all those "nah he is to small" or "he is not ripe" or "another year in reggies will do him good".

The kid is a natural talent no two ways about it. The fact he was out of position and still showed those glimpses of greatness tells me one thing:

It's time to go Flash.

There was no mistake when Val was picked at fullback for QLD NYC over Milford. Val must be our fullback and that's that. Whether we allow flash to look elsewhere or move him to another position that's something for the club to decide.

p.s my other boy chad is doing a mighty fine job ain't he just?
