Yeah it was like that during the Aus GP, picture in picture ads and everyone went off about it, something to do with agreements to show local ads.

Whincup ignoring orders, again. What a fool!

And what an amazing move from Tander after the re-start to get the HRT Commodore into third. :D Pity he didn't have the pace to challenge Frosty though.

Honestly, RB should start looking for a driver who will listen to team orders and stop costing them points in the biggest race of all.

f**k yeah Lowndesy! Great effort from all 6 drivers on the podium. The 3 cars started 15th, 14th, and 22nd respectively. I'm a happy little Holden fan heading home from the race. :)

Edit: I was sitting near the sand trap at MacPhillamy where Whincup went off two laps in a row. Boy did the crowd give him shit. Even the Holden fans.

Only bad part of the day was the shit hurled at the girls team by the shitfaced bogans.

Gracies off was unavoidable. First car into oil after a blown motor from a volvo. Would have caught out anyone - yellow flags saved the followers.

Impressive by Lowndes. Again.

And Richards of course - quite a family record they have going.

Absolutely stoked for Lowndesy.

Always good seeing him hold the trophy.

And Tander getting in the podium is awesome as a HRT fan.

Bit of drama afterwards.
Whincup defying orders again, seems to be some tension in that team. With SVG joining redbull next year things are only going to be more interesting.

Coulthard to djr penske. Should be interesting to see him in what should be a stronger car.

Tander vs Reynolds shit fight on Twitter. Interesting

Yeah, I seem to recall SVG ignoring radio messages from the team orders earlier in the year? (Hidden Valley, maybe?) He'll fit in nicely with Whincup.

And Slade to replace Coulthard at BJR.

But SVG is possibly a better driver.
Whincup gets away with it for now because he is the teams number 1 driver, but if SVG comes in and starts winning straight away will they accept that kind of behaviour from a number 2 driver?

Whincup has cost them two podiums in a row at Bathurst just by being dumb. I have no idea why they put up with it.

6 championship and 4 bathurst wins might have something to do with it.
2015 was a brain explosion, but had he pitted he would of had to stack behind lowdnes and it would of put him down around tenth or so. He tried to beat the safety car out and lost.
2014. Had he pitted he would of tumbled down the order. Had he conserved fuel he would of eventually been overtake by the cars that weren't fuel compromised. He would of ended up about 3rd or 4th anyway. As it was he he finished 5th.

Both were calculated risks that failed big time, but it's taking those risks when others won't and pulling them off that has made him a 6 time champ.

Possibly. He's far and away the best driver in the championship in wet conditions. But he's been rather inconsistent so far this year. Though I think that's got to more with the team struggling with the setup of the car then his driving ability.

If he layed off for a lap or so last ywar he would have won easily, he was about 1min. Short on fuel...
