Timing isn't ideal if its true but I'd rather he go to NFL where I'll never see him than have to watch him tear it up for another NRL club.

Holmes is slower but there must be something to if they show interest. A bit slow but great footwork.

he appears a fair bit smarter than Hayne not hard really. I'd give him a better chance to actually learn the game. Hayne is so lazy and he still did ok in pre season and probably should have gotten a better go unless he started going bad like he has since he returned to league.
really?

also hayne worked pretty hard when he was at the nfl

In all honesty he was nothing more then a glorified finisher with a bit of speed.
It must be a qld thing to have glorified Nathan Merritts to beat up on some of the most awful nsw sides ever assembled. Main one being Dawius, but also flogs like Holmes and Gagai

In a better spot to make a go of it considering his still go youth, Hayne made it just couldn't catch and it cost him.

I mean if simply arriving at the destination means you 'made it' then yeah, he made it
But he was promoted to the roster on a very bad team, he got some touches and proved to be a total and complete liability to his team and was cut shortly after, no one claimed him.
I dont think elite athletes (like Hayne) would consider that 'making it'.

He's another name in a long list of preseason "wait is he a pla... no, never mind, he's trash" players.

You’d think he’d master being an NRL player before thinking he can take on a sport he probably learnt to play on PS4.

He’ll be back.
