Very Disappointing. Can understand young bloke like him wanting to try it,but think its a bad move for him and Sharks and NRL. Thought Hayne had more of a chance to make it even being bit older. Agree not good build for running back but cant see him making a wide receiver given he didn't start at playing at 5 years old, didnt go through the university system either. Should have stayed here and worked on Fullback shortcomings instead of trying to take on a whole new game.

Only good outcome I can see is if he fails the NFL might stop sniffing around NRL players.

Whatever position he wants to play Hes probably already gotten instructions for weight training regime and List of "dietery supplements " for the off season.
