The Chemical Ali Cup is now open to another 9 teams, all the rules etc are at the home page.
You need to register, then go to enter a team. Put in this number for the comp (0237) password dragons.
You then follow the prompts, it is a bidding war for the players, same as last year.
After all teams have entered your competition, a two-day bidding period will open. You nominate how much you are willing to pay for players - only bidding as much as your salary cap allows obviously - and others bid against you. This lets you decide how much you're willing to bid for a player. However, the minimum you can bid is half the player's allotted value. This involves mind games with your opponents. The two-day bidding war is interesting with player payments variable depending on the interest in them. If you bid for a player that no one else bids for, the player is attained at half their market price. Other players could be chased by a few clubs and his price can become too expensive and affect the rest of your squad's quality. It is all a game of cat-and-mouse with some coaches entering the fray in the final few minutes thats when the serious stuff happens. The minutes before and after the deadline are real exciting and are a sensation every VNRL should experience.
We had a ball last year and looking forward to another cracker this year.
