Indeed i am Johnsy, should be a good game. I was going to trade the statue, Mick Vella, but he scored a forward try for me last week!

Coming from behind, gotta love Rhysie Wesser!

Top game mate, went down to the wire. Thought u had me before Wesser fired up

I noticed that i didn't lose a point for Menzies being binned. Odd???

Cheers,

Congrats.
Well it seems the last 10 minutes of the game have let us down again. We have some work to do but I am confident we will win the return bout. See you then. ;)

Weaseltown are top of the table but will they stay there for long? The danger game is this week against the resurgent Salivorites who are racking up some scores. With Hannay and Singunavailable I'm looking down and out, heck I'd be happy with a draw.

Is being able to see the amount you'll get back if you sell a player a new thing or has my screen just been screwing up? I'd love to of had this since the begining... :(

Weasel, you best hurry up & get yourself a personalised Cliffy pic for being top dog, cause I'm comming after it this week! ;)

I said a few weeks ago that the added incentive of a signed C. Richard pic would inspire the boys to work harder on & off the park & here it is, the Stunts leading the table & looking forward to a signed masterpeice from Sir Cliff himself!

Oh happy times, happy times... :D

Should be a gooden this week. The rain will ensure the forwards will slug it out. Hopefully the weather will fine up and the track is a dry one. My boys are down of confidence this week after a couple of losses in a row. I will ensure they are up for it this week, expect a torrid encounter.

I have just had a squiz at your side and I can see that you are using the qld mentality of self promoting underdog. It is an interesting point that I have lost 3 games by a total margin of 12 points, very close competition indeed. I am sure the public cant wait for the finals, shame we dont have them. Some bloody good games in the next few weeks, looking at the similar F/A some absolute games of the century, to be had each week. Yes I know it is an oxymoron, but if rabs can pull it off so can I.

Well the boys have put in a great first 40, I for one hope they can lift their intensity for the last 20, afterall that has been our biggets downfall so far this year.;)

Could someone clear this up.

To score a forward try your player needs to either A) Make at least 25 tackles & 15 hit-ups or B) Make 35 tackles or more with at least 90% efficiency.

Does option B mean 90% of effective tackles must be equal to or greater than 35 (ie: a minimum of around 39 tackles would be needed... I think :()or is it just a minimum of 35 "attempts" at tackles with a success rate of 90% or more?

And the answer according to VNRL...

A good question! The exact calculation is this:
Completed tackles (ie, the figure that says Tackles in the NRL.com
stats)
divided by (Completed Tackles + Missed Tackles)
They have to complete 35 tackles to be eligible for the forward try,
and that number of completed tackles must equate to at least 90% of their
total attempts.
Going by NRL.com stats, that means the minimum you need is 35 tackles
in the Tackles column, plus no more than 3 in the missed tackles column.

And c'mon El D, get on to Cliffy & make him get myautographed picture up. Theresbeen busted coights all over Cupid Park the last 2 weeks with the boys working over-time to get on top of the table &neither weeks have produced the goods.

Or is this a conspiracy & Cliff is actually a closet 'Berrie supporter?? ;)
