I much prefer Voss to Rabbs.
Rabbs would rather talk about the sea gulls flying over head than call the game. And fking Gould just encourages him!
His problem is you read that comment and it's funny. But when he says it it suddenly becomes annoying.I'm a big fan of Andrew Voss' calls, how can you not be when he comes up with gems like these:
"The Tigers can put their hand up an S-bend and pull out a gold watch"
:lol::lol:
We definitely share the same type of humour. Any others to share...
Johns sounded drunk last night.
Voss is a dick.
Fittler is the man. I love the awkwardness of his jokes. eg Voss - "thai or t'ai,he doesnt mind either." Johns - "What are you going to call him?" Freddy - "Pad"
i switched off the warriors game last night and decided to watch the dragons instead. after two minutes of that f**king commentary i decided to switch back to watching my team get reamed.
Voss obviously does a lot of preparation for each game and adds value to his calls with interesting tidbits about players. Rabbits is lazy and complacent...he thinks it's funny when can't pronounce a players name, or calls a piece of play incorrectly. He's reminding me more and more of Rex Mossop in his twilight years.
I think we have fair weather supporter of the year tied up!!
You are a disgrace...
Johns: "I like Tuqiri with his hair tied back, he looks good."
Vossy: "I agree, what do you think about one of the dreadlocks hitting him in the eye."
Johns: "Haha, could see one of the locks flicking him in the eye."
Freddy: "Heh, Kevin."
Fittler was in fine form in the Dragons vs Raiders game last Sunday.
When Jarrod Saffy threw a wild pass in the first half that led to a try, on the replay all I remember hearing was Fittler's "ororororrrrrrrrrghhhhh"
The Gus Gould-Ray Warren Niggling Agro thing. It all sounds so forced, like they've been instructed to do similar to Tony Grieg and Bill LawryI like commentators who are less than perfect. I love it when Rabs and Gould get stuck into each other. I like Vossy's random stuff. Rubbish commentary is entertaining commentary. We can see whats happening on the field, its not like we are relying solely on them to find out whats happening like you would on radio. It might not be as professional as it could be but a perfect commentator would bore the pants off me.
