We just have a dumb as coach and footballers. I'm very embarrassed to be a Kiwis fan this whole year it has been an epic fail. We didn't even blood our younger players right barring Kata. With key personnel out we still showed no pride with shit communication and one up runs that saw us very bunch creating no shape. We are not even No.2 in the world imho

My solution get our core players back for starters. Blood some willing players not people built on reputation. Get a good motivator such as Bluey in their to make them really believe. Let Jesse be a player not a leader and give the captaincy back to Foran or Mannering.

Woke up and it was already 18-0 and the rest was horrid. Aus just too good.

The game continues to cheat itself by having home town refs. About the only positive I can think of is, a few to come back next year, but even then not sure that'll help.

Kidwell should be a dead man walking after this tournament. Harsh on a rookie that took over late, maybe, but we can't afford to gamble a World Cup on him after this debacle. His tactics, selection and decision making are nowhere near what is required.

Kidwell was absolutely master classed by Meninga. Didn't even see an ounce of aggression during the whole tournament, which is weird considering the type of player that Kidwell was.

Yeah Ben Cummins actually had a good fair game. Still should have a neutral reff but like you say, he was not the problem at all. Cummins had a better game than us.

I'm afraid that Kidwell is not the real problem - its those that chose him as coach, and those that selected a team that had no back-up halves that could/would be used.

I am embarrassed to be a NZ rugby league and warriors supporter. What an utterly shite year it has been.
Hoping for a better 2017.

Edit: congrats Australia, played pretty damn awesome all tournament - even if we had our shit together we would be doing exceptionally well to match them.
