Even with this team we are light years away from topping that Kangaroos side. We required some of the injured or unavailable players back in this squad to show some real grit and composure. Kidwell was never a chance with this squad.
Maybe so, but we'll really never know cos its not been chanced and its most unlikely to happen. Till then, we'll continue to see Kasiano be a real force in the NRL. Kasiano, Fifita, Taupau, Taumalolo, Scott are the real heavyweight juggernauts with great carries over the A line.

Lets hope RTS comes back in the same form he was beginning to recapture before his injury cos lets not forget, he didnt start out with us all guns blazing. Foran Im not too worried about cos he's got his game pretty much locked.

Like I said before in my post regarding Kidwell - he was never a chance with this squad cos he chose this squad. He didnt pick the best we had IMO and I think the results do SLIGHTLY reflect that.

In order for us to even draw level with Australia we need all of: our full RTS/SJ/Foran/Luke spine, no exceptions, Roos to be a notch below their prime, either a Slater-esque brain fart / a 50/50 damn-the-torpedoes 78th minute miracle gallop that comes off. Anything less and we're dead.

We've been fielding some great teams lately and doing some epic things on the park, but we only ever got on level terms at best. These latest crashes shouldn't come as a big surprise, they're a *lot* better than us.

True that. Its a real achievement to beat the Roos and it requires a tidy game, a lot of hardwork and maybe even a bit of luck to go your way in whatever way it presents itself. My perception of they way the beat us, is that it seems easy for them at times. We never beat them with that same ease but our underdog victories is probably more memorable for every non Australian league fan than watching the norm - which is them kicking our ass
