And what capped it off was this f**kn loud mouth Souths supporter suiting 3 seats away. He just whooped whooped all game long. Credit to him though I guess as backing his team. Him and his missus both turned up wearing Bunnies jumpers, and were at it from the get go. #stillfuming

What?? Thats..out of it. Yep its the blonde one. I reckon shes hot.
They had a segment on her during an ad break on sky a week or so back apparently every team has one, they spend the week watching every NRL and a fair few Super League games sussing out what other teams are up to with bench rotations and the best ways to combat them, who would have thought its a full time job.
I always thought she was part of the medical team or something , there to check the coaches heart or too administer either an electric shock to start his heart incase it stopped or give an adrenalin shot if he went into shock

Well he probably had a fair bit of pent up whooping after 9 games without a win

Same crap as last week, perfect start then we just hand it back.

Good teams will make us pay for rubbish like this.

It changed the whole game, so early. We never recovered from that dropped ball from Thompson.

Soon after, Lolohea's pass out of dummy-half straight to a runaway Rabbitoh and Roache's knock on (when we were still capable of coming back in the first half) just compounded that first error.

Flip side of the coin, Thompson is turning into something of a ball hog. There have been a few occasions over the last month where has developed nospam29, when passing to Fus/Ayshford may have proved more beneficial.

Wow, the defence never looked set and had no idea what is going on!
Good night nurse!

Bye Bye Top 8

A Rabbitoh fan came into the RSL at half-time and saw that scoreline. He just stared, blinked and stared. It's called not believing your eyes.

I was humiliated. Neutrals in the club were laughing at us.

That's McFadd's arse-covering right there. Ayshford on the bench in place of Bunty (or another forward) in case his back three fall to pieces.

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/league/news/article.cfm?c_id=79&objectid=11692581

When working the ball off their own line it can often take until the third or even fourth tackle before a front-rower gets a touch, and with lock Simon Mannering's tremendous work-rate they are not short on effective metre-eaters.

As a result, the front-rowers are able to get through plenty of tackling and play long minutes, which aids McFadden's somewhat hotly debated preference to carry an outside back on the interchange bench.

"I have read some stuff about the interchange but we're happy and the players are very happy with the way it's working," he said.

"We don't need the forwards on the bench. We've got enough guys there that cover the minutes.

"We want our best players on the field for longer but we do need the versatility around injuries.

"So we prioritise Ben Matulino and those guys. Even though he's coming off the bench, Ben's constantly playing bigger minutes so there's a strategy around it and we're very comfortable with it."

The limited game time given to Tui Lolohea during his well-publicised bench stint was heavily criticised and for the last two weeks Blake Ayshford has been included among the reserves as both backline insurance and back-row cover.

Basically the gist of this article is ' our forwards don't need to be forwards because our wingers are being forwards. So I don't need to carry forwards on the bench. Because the forwards on the field aren't doing the work of forwards they can play longer minutes. '

Logic?

Remember the good old days when Steve Price would cart up 200m a game and left our backline to be a backline

A couple f times there tonight the ball went wide to Manu's side on the 3rd or 4th tackle but he was still in the middle recovering from his hit up. Kata had no one on his outside and just had to cut back on the inside himself.

I know what youre saying. I dont think he is a fullback and still dont BUT had he been given the time and games to grow into that position, he mightve been sweet.

Leuluai is defending nice at 6 but thats where I believe Tui can shine.

Its Cappys selections. Tuis good fullstop but its how you bring out that good.

Oh please? Tui tackles like SJ and catches like Manu. Fullback is the last position for him. (And 6 is second to last.).

Ive not seen him defend that often lately but yeah from what I remember, hes like Johnson in that he just wraps the legs but doesnt stop opposition in their tracks like Leuluai does (geez Im loving his defensive displays lately). Itll be nice of you to post your take on Tuis defence to some of these posters that see him as a centre!

Im not a big fan of him at fullback. You should know that rich as thats one of the reasons I was having these out of control posts with other posters (which Ive learnt from) early in the year cos WAY back then, I was saying Tui wasnt a fullback.

Cappy has put him there and thats the reality Im embracing (unfortunately) and hoping that Tui can do a Wighton and completely turn his season around for the better.

Im not happy that my belief earlier in the year about Tuis slight frailties at the back has now come to light. Like I said before, I cant forecast the Warriors despite me sounding like a know it all but if you know League then you know League and thank God for this forum where I can have my say.

Onwards and upwards, RTS I heard last night in pre game talks that theres a very good chance he will be back this year! And he seemed very excited about it (that was before the Rabbitohs thrashed us though).
