We've had a soft soft draw in the second half of the year, hardly get touched by Origin and a free spot up the ladder thanks to the Eels

It's a farce that we're out of the 8

Not a word of that ain't true.

I've been saying it all year. 8th is 9th. 9th is even worse. 14 games in NZ, a pretty good draw playing the Roosters/Knights twice, our usual Origin advantage...yet we have a negative win/loss ratio. AWFUL

At least our coach had the balls to hook Lolohea, will be fascinating if he's back next week at FB

Surely it wasn't because of injury!

We have Cows away, desperate Tigers and angry Eels.
We could lose all three especially if McFadden persists with his magic combinations

Mark Gasnier making a good point. The forwards WERE passing wide too early at the start of the game rather than earning the right. Never got on top in forwards at any stage.

Point is, and certainly he won't acknowledge it, that he has absolutely ruined Tui this year. He was playing OK football at FB, not great but ok, then dropped him to the bench, then put him back to the wing, then moved him back to fullback where he started but by now is completely shot mentally.

So McFail has reaped what he sewed.

I know what youre saying. I dont think he is a fullback and still dont BUT had he been given the time and games to grow into that position, he mightve been sweet.

Leuluai is defending nice at 6 but thats where I believe Tui can shine.

Its Cappys selections. Tuis good fullstop but its how you bring out that good.

Yeah, I'm not saying he's an NRL standard FB either...but he'd be a lot closer if you left him there for 8-10 weeks and only dropped him if he was in dire form. McFail has absolutely butchered his career so far. I said it in another thread, in his first 42 NRL games he'd played all positions in the backline and bench, and swapped positions week-upon-week 17 times. It is absolute insanity.
