I’m on night shift and missed the kickoff as I was still getting up, switched on at 12-6 after about 23 min. Was a tough effort by the boys but damn that final 5 min felt good!

Post match pretty positive.
Multiple reasons for improvement, new recruits, Carvo, attack plan change. (Not just breathing)
Harris unflappable.
Blair nothing to worry about, binned due to being back end of multiple penalties.

Ricky not happy with the no try obstruction for them.
Also time blown off just before our first field goal and didnt hear ref restart it. ( offload after held call) agree I thought it weird at time.
Not refs fault as they guessing, no black and white obstruction rule.

Those last 2 sets leading to drop goals were surreal. In the last few years I would have said that they looked directionless and would've put money on a loose offload costing us the game. Today they looked like everyone knew their role and just had to work upfield. I hate to say it, but they almost looked ... Composed.

The NRL site has replays. I choose a quiet, late afternoon and hook the laptop up to the TV. It's enjoyable but nothing like watching, or listening, to a whole game live, which I haven't been able to do thus far this season.

I want to be like Fufu, tearing up the joint. That's why we're fans.

Ps, when my Chooks mate told me we'd won with a field goal I was sceptical. I knew we were seven points down with 5-6 minutes to go.

Is time off till ref restarts?
As Jazz offload called back before SJ field goal had a double whistle and ref saying tackle 5 as Jazz went to play it.

I don’t think the clock actually stops but yeah play is called back for the play the ball in that curcumstance.

Did you notice how Kearney actually seemed to visibly relax and start enjoying himself as the post match went on? He’s probably got a phobia of the things after last year, haha

Was trying to figure out where Lisone got charged. It was when we had the ball in the 78th and then 79th minute.

Blair will avoid suspension with an early guilt plea. Liisone 1 week with 2 x early pleas.

Some real toughness was shown by the team. Such a tough start which was partly self inflicted but gee the boys kept showing up. RTS leading the charge with a 'follow me boys' attitude.

Anyone know why the late change starting Paasi and benching Sao? I thought Sao has been great in the opening two weeks but then he only came on with 22 mins left to go?

Also with Jazz I love his hustle and his energy and he did some great stuff with the ball. But with both him and luke in the middle at the same time I couldnt help but think that contributed to Raiders ruck speed. A couple of small bodys against a few monsters. We really struggled to contain the ruck on D at times and Raiders could work up the field pretty easily.

That win was amazing and i'm genuinely stoked about the Warriors for the time in ages. But. So many penalties and errors. I still think we're in for a shock if we play that way against a good side. I didnt think we actually played that well until the last 5 minutes. Am I wrong?

Yep, too many penalties and missed tackles at the moment. Errors are mostly a result of enterprising play so I can live with them. Hopefully Mannering can clean up the other two stats.

Raised elbow that hit the throat of Seizer.
I was shocked they didn't stop the game, but he wasn't in harm's way on the ground.
Can't stop that or players will stay down in defence.
