Wow heart attack material but will take the ugly win with a glorious try.

Lolohea is such a great talent, very special player. Wow he should play at 6 but he is soooo good on the wing. Leaulai to replace Robson?

We played a lot worse than last week even. Tried our hardest to lose and scraped a victory. Two points is two points though...soo woohoo.

Unfortunately you won't get that all the time from Lolohea because Robsons there. Wingers are to stay on the wing.

Wingers come in looking for one off carries in attack during early tackles, which is what I was after.
Jazz wasn't as dynamic today, may have been the nose knock or hat Luke was playing better.

Lucky Lolo was on wing to take that catch and not at 7! :D:sarcasm:

Really good to see Kata come back and in and be aggressive with Ferguson. Ferguson seems to be able to get over the top of many centres in the game like he did with Kata last year...but Kata got in his face and showed no fear. Good on on him. Even though we have not been playing well...its been really satisfying to see the improved defence of Kata.

Thanks a lot Robson. You make a mistake that results in a try and you ain't got the attacking abilities to score a try. You will be back next week and every week we have to hope you have a good game. Damn let down.

I'd say Robson experiment could be over if he costs us a game and TL is fit.

Lisone needs to learn the rules of League.
1. You cant take the ball off the carrier when 2 in the tackle
2. You cant pass off the ground when tackled.

THe guy is costing us the game

I saw that second one differently. I don't think the tackle was completed at all. If he had gotten up and started running it would have been play on. So why can't he pass? I thought that was a tough call on us.

In League if a winger comes in they usually get told to go back to the wing. They only come in if it's in their own red zone and it's on THEIR side. They kicked to Manus side a bit so Manu goes first then either RTS or Kata. Lolohea can't come in.

There was a big space Robson went into and it looked like a try for all money but instead of Lolohea going in it was Robson and no try was the result. That's just one example of so many situations where had it been Lolohea there, something more would came of it.

Im just sick of Robson. I did see a little bit of good from him 2 weeks ago but I'm not after a little bit.

Hope he doesn't get charged for that lifting tackle. Penalty sufficient for mine, no intent in it and his technique was fine.

While we played a bit up and down today one thing stood out clear for me, which I haven't seen in a long time, probably over 2 to 3 years.

The warriors looked like they wanted to hurt the opposition today. They were aggressive and some of the tackling was brutal. That for me marked a major step forward. The polish isn't there but the intent is.

I think if we keep getting a few wins on the board, come the third quarter of the year we may be a nightmare team to play when the cohesion will be much improved.

Also nice to see Cappy looking relatively happy at the press conference. Keep winning and we will all put the pitch forks safely away and forget we ever wanted him gone.

Also have they given up on Hurrell being a centre now? - Bulk him up a little more and play prop?

It sure looks that way cos there was a time where Kata didn't look so good and I couldn't help but think Hurrell but definitely wasn't what Cappy was thinking.

Either Cappy really believes Hurrell will be more effective in the forwards or he's just setting him up to publicly fail to justify Cappys non selection of him earlier. He does look like he's put on the beef and looks more like a prop so no one's really questioning his position.

Hurrell might not like it but he's a beggar at the moment. He's got to make do and start causing havoc like he use to and that's what's important for Konnie right now cos it's not what we're seeing.

Is a bit weird, he could of kept crawling or got up and broken hold on his Jersey but rules are rules and his arm.carrying the ball touched the ground.

Kata would be a better 2nd row option. In fact with his lack of passing ability maybe we should just put him in the front row. He runs hard all the time.

Plus, I'm sure his head on defence is fine, but his defence at centre is awful.

Kata has had two decent games in a row, but that is all.

Konnie hasn't really had a chance under McFadden, he should have just left the club at the start of the year.

I think time will prove you wrong. Kata is noticeably more confident and has been making better decisions in the games I have seen this year. He just needed a bit of time and coaching which he seems to have gotten. He doesnt seem to have much of a passing game though...but maybe he will learn that as well. I can see now why cappy persevered with him. He is probably a very coachable player that will keep getting mentally better the longer he is a first grader, which will allow more of his natural talent and abilities to shine fourth.

Yeah, I have been a critic, but you can't argue with successive good performances. He is doing all the right things.

Yep, really enjoy seeing a player address his weaknesses successfully. Like Johnson has with his defence too - he was physical on d today was Shaun. If only Robson could find some wheels :roll:
