Unbelievable! Only the Warriors can win it with 21 secs to go and still be in a chance to lose it with 2 secs left. That was great, like jumping on the coffee table great (which I did twice - once when Curran went over and after the SJ kick). The resolve, the fight and the composure was something to be really proud of (win or lose). Seriously chuffed right now!

Hard to believe but here we are, smashing a top four side after a twenty point deficit.

Which is why we are second in the comp.

We won after Cummings sending off Niukore.

We won away at the Shire.

We won without our two in form forwards and without our key spine player,

We are headed for the NRL finals and we are a top eight club no denying it,. And we are playing on the hard side of the draw,

So when we make it to the finals it will be no harder than the teams we are playing now against the Reff.

This is our year.

I never say that. But this year it is true.

I worked, I missed it. No phone with me, finished at six pm, so the game was live up until then and no one told me the result.

I got home, didn't want to look at the score, so ate something and read a bit of the SMH offline. The mrs didn't see the result, otherwise she would've told me about a win.

Then it was time to face the music. I get on this site, click on 'Competitions', look at the results banner, get momentarily confused, go left towards Thursday/Friday, feel sick, then head right, 'Cronulla 30, Warriors 32'. That takes a second to register but then it's clear.

But actually, right? I always hate the 'playing against the ref' stuff but it's often not true, but some of the refereeing this year is the worst I have ever seen.

Cummings was a f**king disgrace yesterday. You may as well shut down the sport if the Niukore tackle is a professional foul. Then the Finucane one wasn't much better. These imbecile referees consistently find stuff to swing the momentum around to the team that *should* be winning, then at the end they nitpick towards the other day to redress the balance of the penalty count.

The only thing holding our game back, which is by far and away (opinion alert) the best game in the world, is our stupid rule book and the application of it by the nimrods in yellow.

Getting rid of the hip drop tackle is a good rule and both Finucane (3 weeks) and Niukore (2 weeks) are having a holiday if they plead guilty. Longer stints on the sideline if they fight it and lose. Dropping almost your full weight onto the back of the ball carriers legs when he is straining to go forward is not a good look. I am not into "ref bashing" either but I think the Finucane tackle was picked up by the Bunker. Judiciary Charges
