Mickdo, you quoted only one thing I was concerned about. We get so much media print these days (a lot of it is a total crock) that it places undue pressure on the team to succeed. I have seen nothing to suggest things are going to get better considering their poor form thus far. I really think they have a 2009 hangover fuelled by a dumbass media campaign that only puts unwanted pressure on the team. This, plus the Eels looking like they already need a holiday spells a hard short term at best. They may well end up getting their act together and I will be the first to toast them if they do,but FMD if they don't take the hard road to get where they are going.

I started a thread before the first round about attitude - Im thinking that I should refresh it.

The interviews that I saw from the players back then, gave me the impression, that they are not worried about the first 5 rounds, that it is a long season etc etc. What they did last year was amazing, no other team has done it before. Remember, the ball bounced our way in a few games (including the last game against the Tigers, when Hayne scored the miracle try off the miracle bounce). :crazy::crazy: I have the dirts all weekend, when the get beat on a Friday!!! Grrr

The worst part about them playing on Friday & going to watch that slack effort is - it ruins my entire weekend!!!

i know the feeling whenever they get flogged or throw away a winnable game by not turning up i just lose interest in footy for the rest of the round half the time i dont watch the sunday or monday games by then i dont care anymore
