Sharks: 1. Isaac Gordon 2. Kose Lelei 3. Dean Collis 4. Ricky Leutele 5. Nathan Stapleton 6. Scott Porter 7. Tim Smith 8. Siosaia Vave 9. Stuart Flanagan 10. Johnny Mannah 11. Trent Grubb 12. Broderick Wright 13. Jarred Farlow
Interchange: 14. Andrew Clayton 15. Jack Afamasaga 16. Jason McGrady 17. Daniel Perkins 20. Sione Kite

Summary: While Krisnan Inu retains his place in the NRL, the Vulcans have named another international centre to take his place in former Kangaroo Shaun Berrigan. Berrigan will be partnered in the centres by the versatile Sione Lousi and combined with two sizeable wingers in Willie Peace and Nuivoa Taka, they provide halves Pita Godinet and Brett Seymour with some more than handy attacking weapons.

The Sharks have only named two Melbourne players in Jack Afamasaga and Sione Kite but you would expect a few players off Craig Bellamy's extended eight-man bench to make their way to Leichhardt on Sunday barring significant injury worries out of their NRL clash with the Warriors.

The battle of the engine room sees four of the top NSW Cup front-rowers and two of the best hookers do battle. James Gavet, Alehana Mara and Jeremy Latimore (Vulcans) and Johnny Mannah, Stuart Flanagan and Siosaia Vave (Sharks) have all either tasted NRL or are on the fringe of selection and whoever gains ascendancy here will give their side the best chance of progressing through to the Grand Final at ANZ Stadium next Sunday afternoon.

Talking Point: The shootout – The Vulcans (810) and the Sharks (656) were first and third respectively when it came to scoring points in season 2011 and the Sharks showed in no uncertain terms last weekend that they can put points on the board and do it quickly. Should conditions be similar to last weekend then it could be an all out shootout with the team who uses the blustery conditions better taking the spoils.

Prediction: Very hard to separate these two sides and don't think there will be much in it either way but favour the Vulcans ever so slightly. Vulcans by 2.

They have to stand a good chance. Would be great to see them through to the final as well!

Interesting to see Berrigan there.
This should be a good game with both teams fielding many players with NRL experience.

Don't think anyone is going to beat the dogs here they have more then half the team with nrl experience and its not only 2-3 games experience.

You might know these guys Berrigan and Seymour, played a few NRL matches...a few for your mob as well.

The Sharks (note their name, the Sharks) are all rejects from their first-grade side, which says it all.

Vulcans should win this one and progress through. First grade is the only team that I have my doubts about (even though they have done extraordinarily well to get to the final 4)

Sorry there was a miss understanding I was not pointing towards this game between you guys and the sharks I was talking for the premiership and saying that the Dogs are to strong as most of there 17 has played at NRL level.

Surely there will be a few changes. Sione Lousi (backrow) in the centres? Pita Isaac John (halfback) at lock? Ivan Penehe (centre) on bench?

Seems a bit confusing. Good team though.

John's been playing at lock most of the season. Lousi's had a few games in the centres, as well, but i'd much prefer to see Penehe starting there, too.

IF the Warriors were to lose this week and the Vulcans were to progress, which players would be eligible for the Vulcans in the GF. Probably Inu and Brown, right?

Bulldogs are beatable, we knocked them off with much the same side a month or two back. Should be heading up on Sunday so might catch the tail-end of this game before the mighty Bears run around

I think there's some stupid rule that says "dual eligibility" only applies while both teams are alive in the finals, so that would mean Inu and Brown (and whoever else) are only eligible while the first grade team is still around.

Don't you have to play less than half the season for the first grade team to be able to play in the lower grade teams after elimination? So Ta'ai, Steve Rapira will be eligible. Taylor and Tupou no. Inu maybe?
