no one obsesses over a few posters like alwaysjealous does it's both loser behaviour and patheticIsn’t that all of us?
Pips is like babe Ruth pointing to where he’s going to hit it out of the park
cumins should have been smarter with his approach. oh wellThe best thing Vlandys ever did was tell Perth consortium to take a walk. Absolutely no substance.
Dear me Pip. Stop being so reactionary. It’s the attitude of peanuts like you and WB that has held the game back. Totally opposed to Perth until it became almost unavoidable. Now only supporting one if it has a Sydney nanny. True expansion takes bravery. The AFL are brave. They’ve put 4 teams in our markets. The NRL is full of cowards like you. True expansion means new markets. If the Perth bid is flailing it’s actually the NRLs fault. The NRL should have taken the march on this by seeking government support a decade ago and seeking corporate support. WA is loaded with money. Its population is fanatical in it’s support of local teams. The NRLs approach to Perth has been pathetic. It’s easy for wankers like you and WB to snipe negativity from the sidelines as it’s all you are good for. The nrl is responsible for expansion. It is its job to seize the day, and to make the expansion process seamless. Unfortunately it’s full of people who are too scared to see it reach its true potential. Same as if ever was. Meanwhile our major opponent keeps up its relentless march in our markets.Sydney kings people?! Who were the others named?! Lol

outside cumins and possible kings owners who werent investors when bid was submitted who were the rest of these unnamed people?haha you still going about no investors even after those investors were named and put in a bid? Cuckoo cuckoo
outside cumins and possible kings owners who werent investors when bid was submitted who were the rest of these unnamed people?
Just keep sniping little man.Never been named & never will.

isn't plonking swans in sydney and then having lions merge with failing brisbane essentially the same thing thats happening with perth nrl?Dear me Pip. Stop being so reactionary. There are major differences. The afl expanded out of Victoria and set up a national football league. We didn’t. It placed two teams each in two its existing markets and two each in two new markets. We didn’t. The swans, lions, suns and GWS are seen as genuine Sydney and Brisbane teams. These peanuts here are talking up the Perth Bears as a Sydney team propping up league in WA. It’s 2025 and we don’t have a team in Perth. It’s 2025 and we don’t have a team in Adelaide.isn't plonking swans in sydney and then having lions merge with failing brisbane essentially the same thing thats happening with perth nrl?
not to rehash it all and i get there's differences etc but at its core it's the same crap. aussie rules hit their own markets south aussie and west aussie with double ups and south aussie port team is exactly like dolphins when you think about it.
so that leaves gws and suns as true no form of previous viccy team heritage or not outside true aussie rules (west aussie and south aussie) region.
so that leaves storm as the comparable club to gws and suns.
this might sound silly but way i sees it is
aussie rules heartland expansions vs nrl heartland expansion
port = dolphins
crows = warriors
eagles = cowboys
dockers = knights
lions and swans = essentially bears in west aussie
gws and suns = storm
now i get that they have more clubs in non rl states like qld and nsw but again 2 of those teams are essentially same shit as bears in west aussie.
i get that they cover more geography but their spread isn't as raw or brave as its made out to be. not in the set ups when you peel it back.
just my thoughts. if they wrongs, oh well.
Afl is not visionary
Adding teams to nz and png is visionary
But some people have a huge chip on their shoulder re afl
1 new rugby league fan in Perth is worth more than 100 new fans in png or nz
Adding the bears to Perth is a brilliant strategy. Basically 2 clubs for the price of one and takes out all the risk of Perth failing
And Pvl has been the one to get so much money out of the wa govt
This should have happened a decade ago. At least.That's what NRL is doing by moving ahead with bears & WA government. Seems like Perth red throws shade at this venture now.
Oh dear and look how well it’s going for us? Ffs we are in a war. Sit back like we are and you lose.AFL funds expansion out of its own pocket. I can't think of any other league in the world that does that. Successful competitions demand licence fees. Vlandys applying best practice.
I wouldn’t mind the nrl copying the afl funding system but not as drasticAFL funds expansion out of it's own pocket. I can't think of any other league in the world that does that. Successful competitions demand licence fees. Vlandys applying best practice.

its 2025 and there is no league played in Tasmania at all.
The afl has been expansion monsters. We are cowards.
and historically pip and wb have opposed expansion to Perth at all and wb in particular endlessly whinges about the lack of growth in Victoria despite the fact there has been almost no investment there at all by the game.
The afl have brazenly invested in participation growth in our markets. We’ve done feck all.
Thank goodness the game is so good. It’s administration historically has been gutless
