maybe they don't have the cash to splash for any longer right now but after 2026 can re-assess and offer more or this is to appease sua and keep him at storm with a shorter pap contract.

If PNG are coming in in 2028 then you'd hope they will allow them dispensation to negotiate with players off contract end of 2027 before the other clubs deadlines.

i know you're pulling the mickey but any player off contract end of 2026 would be looked at for a potential new club, if a new club comes in 2027.

it's not dumb to suggest there might be something however there still needs to be an official approval for the new club to actually come in first to even consider the above a genuine thought.

wouldn't they have gotten together on multiple occasions over the last few years for matters? didn't pvl and co fly over to wa to meet with gov only a few weeks ago or so? or do you mean more as in to close the bid out and talk seriously?

I think he's allergic to flying West Cant say I've ever seen him at SOO or any NRL events here.

Rumoured but never confirmed. The WA Govt has had a working group led by Tinley, NRL working group led by Beattie. Them two would have met many times over the last 12 months.
