Yes he’s been busy making daily spending announcements. You dont think if the deal was done he wouldn’t be announcing it in his pre election campaign?Did your source reveal to you when they had in fact last spoken ?, I have seen WA Premier Cook has been very busy on his campaign trail, I’d be surprised if anything happens before the WA election in March with how busy Cook has been looking on his instagram page.
alwaysloser just cant go a day without being a loser. pathetic in all forms of life. alwaysloser thinks about this thread and posters 24/7, lol loserI've heard today could be the day.
why woulds he if it wasnt an election agenda item or promise or originally item that was budgeted for? genuine question too.Yes he’s been busy making daily spending announcements. You dont think if the deal was done he wouldn’t be announcing it in his pre election campaign?
Yeah it sucks, last season was just self sabotage, once the original Coach got sacked for gabbling it was all downhill, then dumbarse changes to the Grand Final squad on the eve of the biggest match of the year was the final straw.Bears the experts at failing when it matters most. Botching 2 grand finals in a row in the NSW Cup is woeful. Bouncing out in 94 and 97 was laughable.
Maybe Cook feels it’s just too big of a gamble committing to a NRL team in a AFL State during his election campaign ?, maybe once he is re-elected then he will go with the WA Bears all guns blazing, that’s just my feeling.why woulds he if it wasnt an election agenda item or promise or originally item that was budgeted for? genuine question too.
To quote Boston ‘More than a feeling’?Maybe Cook feels it’s just too big of a big gamble committing to a NRL team in a AFL State during his election campaign ?, maybe once he is re-elected then he will go with the WA Bears all guns blazing, that’s just my feeling.
maybes everything is rosey but like you and centy are sayings that its the election thats pushed everything back for whatever reasons. maybe west aussie govo rugby league commitments might be seens badly by aussie rules reach arounders community and cookie might think itll hurt his polling so instead he keeps it all hush hush until the day beckons. To quote Boston ‘More than a feeling’?
Well that’s what I would do if I was Cook, I feel everything is virtually all agreed upon, just get the election out of the way and then announce it.maybes everything is rosey but like you and centy are sayings that its the election thats pushed everything back for whatever reasons. maybe west aussie govo rugby league commitments might be seens badly by aussie rules reach arounders community and cookie might think itll hurt his polling so instead he keeps it all hush hush until the day beckons.
who knows. speculations
The WA government doesn't give a hoot if the NRL waits or not.Nrl isn’t waiting for the state election to get out of the way
Unless they push forward png to 2027 and leave Perth for 2028
I thought that as well, but then one of his early announcements and his biggest spend promise so far has been a $220mill racetrack around Burswood that literally nobody wants! Doesn't seem like he cares to much about what might be popular.Maybe Cook feels it’s just too big of a big gamble committing to a NRL team in a AFL State during his election campaign ?, maybe once he is re-elected then he will go with the WA Bears all guns blazing, that’s just my feeling.
Get better sources.I thought that as well, but then one of his early announcements and his biggest spend promise so far has been a $220mill racetrack around Burswood that literally nobody wants! Doesn't seem like he cares to much about what might be popular.
My concerns about deal not yet done backed up by my source on Friday who said " Talks continuing, concerned reaching point of no return if a 2027 season kick off is the goal, but we will keep pushing".

as many are speculating on here wouldnt it be dues to election? if papua was being in discussions in may and only announced december thats 7 months in totals. if nrl only been chatting to west aussie gov since late october thats only 2.5 months that they been chatting for once we takeaway christmas and new years break out of it.so wheres the announcement if he's wrong?
