the only real fan friendly game times for attending are 4pm or 6pm Saturday or 4 pm Sunday perth time. Only the 4pm perth time gives nrl a new time slot for the tenth game, a slot no east coast team is going to want.

what’s best for a comp and nrl and business isn’t putting it on a game at 9pm east coast and 11pm kiwi where 90% of eye balls are and therefore where majority sponsorships and opportunities lay. the nrl isnt gonna cater to a small market like west Aussie potential or not.

what’s the point of getting Perth viewership numbers to 30k only to lose 60-70k between qld and nsw and kiwi because it’s on a silly time? Makes 0 sense.

We usually release our schedule first from memory. Regardless we should be scheduling games in Perth at times that suit the local audience primarily. There are some nice time slots due to the time difference. Just announce the bloody side please.

In all likelihood, unless we end up with the dreaded monday night again the tenth game slow will be 6pm sunday. So someone has to play in it. Day game full stadium, family friendly, not wanted by other clubs. Perth is the logical filler.

big difference between Sunday 6pm east coast 8pm kiwi 4pm west Aussie which caters to all and especially where majority of eye balls are vs. 9pm east coast 11pm kiwi just because its good for 9k-11k current tv viewers which might get to 25-30k once team is in and 15k-17k game attending fans in west aussie.

sure you get more out of west Aussie but you lose double, triple that in east coast due to dumb time slot of 9pm and 11pm kiwi. makes 0 business sense. Let’s increase an area only to lose another? So we still in deficit regardless?

dockers 2 Sunday games, 1 Thursday, 1 Friday, 1 saturday.

So first 14 weeks there’s 7 afl games on a Sunday.

like is said if we want to fill hbf park there’s only 3 decent time slots for perth and one of them is 4pm Sunday, we shouldn’t worry about what afl does and concentrate on building our club.
