So does this actually exist? Am I missing the joke?
The joke was that I had already itemised everything PR wanted to know if the NS side could provide, then he moved the goal posts by asking if they had a high-performance centre, which is something not even all NRL clubs have. Dragons only just broke ground on theirs.

Its virtually April, is 2027 a realistic timeframe to put together a whole new team and support structure in a non-NRL area?

This is only 6 months more than the Dolphins who were much more advanced with all of the above.
It'll be a challenge for sure, Im sure if it had happened in October we would have a ceo and coach by now having off the book conversations with managers. In theory players cant be signed until Nov, but as we know the real negotiations start long before then.

Will hinge on how quickly the NRl can appoint the board, CEO and coach and some other key positions. Id imagine some of the NRLHQ infrastructure will help out early days (such as HR,finance dept etc) until the club is built. A lot will depend on if the NRl is already getting the pieces in place now, or if it will wait to be 100% sure its going to happen and things are signed in blood.

I wouldnt be surprised to see PNG and Perth both come in together in 2028.

Nrl will already have the board and coach ready to go when it’s announced in a few weeks

Since Bellamy probably said no Arthur would be the most likely candidate
