I’m with Ricky Stuart after last weekend, that was horrible, I turned it over at halftime.
No team in the NRL would’ve over come that officiating display.

I'm certainly not with Ricky. He gave his players clear instructions to slow down the ruck, they did, they got penalised and lost.

It was great refereeing. Penalties aren't supposed to be " even " . Simply seeing an infringement should be called.
If the Raiders were allowed to get away with that, the whole comp would adapt the same tactics and we would see the most boring year the NRL has ever produced.

Woeful officiating, the Raiders were frustrated out of that game in the first half alone, that disallowed try to Canberra was rubbish and the Manly player should’ve been given 10 mins for the late shot on the halfback, though I did 100% agree with the Corey Horsburgh sin binning.

Look, in all honesty I had money on Manly.
And obviously was happy with those calls at the time but even after the fact in hind sight and no longer invested thought they were the right calls.
The way Canberra played that game was exactly why they brought in the " 6 again " rule. If a team slows down the ruck to cut any chances of momentum and things opening up, a penalty doesn't work because they reset.. rinse and repeat. You can do it all game slow down the ruck deliberately/ cheat and win..still

Canberra were blatantly cheating, there was probably 50 other tackles that could have been 6 agains.

If Ricky wants to be successful, maybe come up with a better game plan than cheating.
