Don't you remember them playing at the Dog track in Newcastle?
In May 97 they beat the Panthers 30-6 in front of 2,198 people
We’ve got the Melb storm who took all the mariners players

Only things I watched from super league were the grand final and that wonderful tri series between nsw qld and nz

Not sure the point of any home games in Central Coast to be honest, the Sydney clubs can do that.

If they have to have one game in Sydney use the Gadhu Gathering round as a bit of a mask and use Allianz, NSO can host a trial. Agreement should be the Sydney game means they are always the away team at Magic, 11 games in Perth puts them on par with other one team cities like Melbourne, Auckland, Gold Coast & Canberra.

Bears V Sea Eagles
Rabbitohs V Eels
Roosters V Bulldogs
Tigers V Dragons

All at Allianz Thursday-Sunday.
Is this Gadhu round the same as the Eora round they have been talking about?

One of the biggest concerns about the two new teams coming in is whether there’s enough talent out there, but Robinson isn’t worried and says people need to start focusing on the future and what the sport looks like in 20 years’ time.

“I always believe in our game,” he said.

“There’s always talk when a new team comes in that there’s not going to be enough players to go around, but I don’t think that’s the case. I think we’ll always have that (depth).

“I always think what our competition is going to look like in 2040. It’s a pretty simple question. Perth will be in, PNG will be in, New Zealand will have another team, possibly Fiji will be on the cards.

“That’s when it’s then about ‘how do we get that done?’“

The challenge will be fielding a competitive team now.

The NRL should approve South Africans as salary cap exempt.

Sign two or three outside backs from the Springboks and create a pathway for South African Rugby League into the Western Bears pathways. This would also help engage the South Africans in WA.

Once PNG are up and running they should just change the 2 salary cap exemption spots to any player from outside Australia/NZ/England, then clubs can do what they want with those spots.

If they agree to the Union player cap exemption they can tweak it further.
