be realistic....in that situation he should have looked behind him, common sense was needed, maybe these players have it drilled into their heads too much about quick play the balls and he didnt think?

so your saying its Brian Smiths fault?

Wade can count his lucky stars that he is still in first grade in my opinion. He has the metres gain points on the board but his defence is poor I believe.

If Joel had been playing fullback in the last few weeks, he probably would of got a chance but he has been playing 5/8 and in the centres the last 2 weeks.

Though in saying this, Smithy would probably rather Burt at fullback if Wade was to be dropped because we all know Smithy does the opposite to commonsense

His defense against the Broncos was very poor

Minichellio showed how you stop Tupou

ok then .. so its wasnt the best against the broncs .... 1 game ... no reason to want him dropped ... if that the case then half our side should be dropped each week !! including hindy!

Well against the Broncos his defense was poor
against the Cowboys he made dumb errors
against Manly he made a lot of errors

thats 3 games where problems in McKinnon's games have been highlighted so while other aspects of his game in those games have been great people dwell on the negative when bagging someone or finding reasons to drop them and unfourtunatly for McKinnon there are 3 different games where arguments can be made.

Hence, the reason why McKinnon's season has been seen as worse then it actually is.

At the end of the day if your fullbacks biggest problem is a defensive problem then I'd be more worried about the twelve blokes in front of him.

Sterling u have no idea. Let's look back shall we??

Panthers, failed to hold up Gower and a valid attempt
Preston kicked the ball 10 metres out, run through and scored, no sign of any cover defence
Pridis makes a break from the halfway line, where was Wade? Piggy was even chasing him down
Wesser ran around him like he wasn't there but Wesser is quick.

Tigers: Have a look at the pathetic attempt he puts on Whateria
13 runs for only 108 metres, less then 10 every hit up
Tried to hold up Collis for the first try
To casual in the ingoal when the ball bounced funny and Jamaal almost scored

He had a poor game against Manly also

The argument on Wade's side seems to be that we can list only the bad aspects of his play. But can anyone enlighten us with more positive aspects than negative?

One of the tries Tupou scored was as a result of Graham dropping off the tackle which he SHOULD have made (he was in position to do so).

McKinnon this year has rarely let the ball bounce, and has caught kicks on the full to return them.

* 8 Line Breaks just behind Steve Bell's NRL best 11.

* Averaging 151 metres per game on kick returns/hit ups

* 2 Tries

* 1 Try Assist

You should visit my "Opinions on NH" thread!

As for Wade's positives - we've mentioned them a few times:

* One-on-one tackles

* Catching kicks on the full

* Breaking tackles

* Scoring tries

* Making linebreaks

I'm an NFI?

I posted my own opinion of Wade and u tell me I'm a NFI.

If u knew Wade, I'm sure he will be the first to say that his form has been down but then again I'm a cancer to the club.

U r an idiot.
