For the record I think Wagon had his best game ever as a 5/8 for us on Sat night and he's been one of our best over the past 3 weeks.

I would have done that too. I didn't though - reason being I went to the game with my dad and the poor guy nearly froze!

I am TREMENDOUSLY proud of Daniel and the boys for that effort and the efforts of the past 3 weeks.

Like I've mentioned before (and others too) - I think we have very simple and 'bandwagonish' fans. When we're doing great, we get big crowds.

But when the boys need it most, we barely get over 10 000.

THAT is what annoys me. I am sure we have more than just 10 000 fans every week who are able to attend the games ...

In the game against Brisbane the centres got plenty of quality ball. Why? Because Wagon gave them ball on numerous occasions by passing it to them. GF, Wagon has been criticized for not giving them enough football all year, and as soon as he does you have a go at him? What do you want exactly?

We cannot play classy attacking footy with wagon at 5/8 linking our backline and centres- he tries but is not dangerous and smart enough- HE IS A HARD WORKER AND CONSISITENT TACKLER AND THATS IT!!!!

Smithy may play his 5/8 and lock similarly but our link man has to be classy with the ball and a natural set up playmaker- WAGON IS A HARD WORKER AND SHOULD TRY AND SETUP NOTHING TI THE CENTRES!!!

WAGON IS A BACKROWER IN ATTACK AND DEFENCE!!!!!!!


GIVE SOMEONE GENUINE A CHANCE!! MATEO OR T.SMITH CAN AT LEAST GROW INTO THE POSITION.

Sorry but with 12 experienced players out last week the last thing Smith would want to do is throw another young debutant into the mix, and in the halves at that. Smith and Mateo will get their chance, hopefully eased into first grade though rather than have all that pressure on them at once.
