Interesting topic.
Personally, I'm a bit indifferent. There are Storm fans out there who feel that the club has been hard done by the NRL and claiming the club is being victimised. This is shown by several Storm supporters in this forum. I have sympathy for the true supporters who realise their club has done the wrong thing and is generally gutted and devestated yet makes no excuses for the club. But I have no sympathy for those fans, and there are a lot out there who blame the NRL and the salary cap for their misfortunes rather than their own club.
shes just a News LTD troll trying to keep the plague alive.
Do you get it now?
This is the point I was trying to make, probably worded a little better. I personally know a couple of Storm fans and it's absolutely destroyed them, I feel very sorry for them.
As do I Timmah. I know that if this had of been my team (FTR, I am not a Storm fan) I would have been devastated.
I guess the haters (the Matt's, Dragon's, et al.) are similar to that drunk guy at the football; who swears at everyone, spills beer everywhere and in general, is the guy the rest of the crowd look at in disgust and chuckle at with embarrassment.
There's two groups in every supporter base.
In the Storm supporter base, there's the bandwagon f**kwits who can't accept that all they jumped on board for is false - marktwain, simostorm, douchebags in the salary cap forum, and there's the true fans who just want to rebuild like SC, Kia Ora, Dani,, LeSStar, BDH by the looks of it.
Grow up and get over yourselves haters.

x2 x 3 x 1000.. u people have no idea..get a grip and be a rugby league fans for a change. my opinion is the storm should not be in the competition this year if they cant get points.. the only people u should be blaming about this is the nrl.. and there soft rules... someone is likely to get hurt with the storm with nothing to play for.. im just glad last nyt no 1 got hurt.. sure some of the the storm players knew they were rorting the cap but it seems news ltd knew about this and obviously the nrl had an idea.. how come it took some 1 about to lift the lid on the club who got sacked before the nrl took action...
You just got to love the people that come on here and find a way to blame the NRL for what the cheating scum of a club Melbourne did!the only people u should be blaming about this is the nrl.. and there soft rules...
Well you have to blame the 50% owner of it News LTD.You just got to love the people that come on here and find a way to blame the NRL for what the cheating scum of a club Melbourne did!
Their fans are starting to crack, much like their team.
Good work boys, keep it up.
How the f**k is it they only have to venture to sydney 5 times in a season?
Come to Leichhardt you f**kers, you aint seen nothing yet.
You object to the storm fans being lumped together, yet you do the same to the bolded, hypocrite ?

When it comes to the Storm players, none of them have come out publicly and stated their club did the wrong thing and offer any apology on behalf of the club to supporters of other clubs. None of the players have offered any regrets over what happened. The players have done nothing wrong but the attitude from the Storm players is still "we're the ones being punished" when it goes far deeper than that. Once the players realise that they are not the only victims in this sage then I shall have a lot more sympathy towards them. But at the moment they carry on like they're the only ones who've suffered from think the whole salary cap drama is a storm (no pun intended) in a teacup when it's not.
