Strange. Either Soward is on the outer or Walshy will be playing in the Wollongong comp as his back up as I cant see either playing 5/8.

The Knights are only paying half of his contract next year at Saints so I suppose he's a handy back up half for 75k, he is no chance of getting in front of Hornby and Soward though unless there is an injury etc.

I'm pretty certain his (Hornby's) days at fullback are over and Soward is going well at five eight - Saints have no other half backs ready for the NRL they really lack depth in the halves.

Darius Boyd and Brett Morris will be fighting for the fullback spot next year.

Yeah - we know he knocked back the warriors and i'm sure he had other offers at the little money he is on - so he will be going to the one who promised him a shot at least.
