Not good to see that his daughter is already starting to show signs of his behaviour at 18. Hate to think of how she may turn out within the next few years if she's not careful.

I suspect there wont be a Brooke Warne Foundation any time soon....

She will probably be a future headache on Dancing with the (cough cough Has beens)stars or some other reality crap show.

I suspect there wont be a Brooke Warne Foundation any time soon....

Well, I must say she is very big for someone of her age, so maybe Warne can start up the Brooke Warne Foundation as a front for buying diuretics or weight-loss shakes (ala Tony Ferguson style)

Seems like only donations were going to Warne's family and friends.

What a great fella, nothing selfish about they at all.

Eddie McGuire is going to have a lot of egg on his face if any misappropriation of funds is proven in the independent audit, given the way he has been staunchly defending Warne and bagging off other journos in the media over this issue. LOL @ this section in the article:

Upset at the story detailing Coleman's departure, McGuire texted one of the journalists and Fairfax Media chief executive Greg Hywood at 3am.

"Chris [Vedelago], just so bad. Just so standard. We don't care. We make money for kids. You? Well it's a different journalism ideal I bought into. Probably not your fault. Greg Hywood should hang his head. F--- off. Eddie."

Reminds me of when he had the green apple splatters over Tim Paine with all the legal threats regarding comments Paine made about the Melbourne Stars, and then was made to eat humble pie with Paine played a match-winning innings to eliminate the Stars in the semi-final.

The pressure that never bothered Warnie when he was playing, is starting to eat him up now he's retired

The bodgy charity thing is passé nowdays anyway

Could anyone see Tugga being that hard up he'd have to take up an offer to be on reality TV?

Why would she need to buy them when she could just bludge a couple off Grandma Warne?

This is probably the smallest idiotic thing he has done but i really wish evolution was taught better. Its a very simple concept much simpler than aliens made humans

If we’ve evolved from monkeys, then why haven’t those ones evolved?” Warne asks in a clip from tonight’s episode, prompting a half-hearted “Yeah ...” from fellow contestant Bonnie Lythgoe.

“Cos I’m saying: Aliens. We started from aliens,” Warne continues

Look at those pyramids, Bonnie. You couldn’t do ‘em. You couldn’t pull those huge bits of brick and make it perfectly symmetrical ... couldn’t do it. So who did it?”

Warne has really lost his marbles bigtime. The only thing that was missing from Warne's monologue was Andrew Symonds or the song Monkey by George Michael.

Why would she need to buy them when she could just bludge a couple off Grandma Warne?

Well, Warne needed the alleged $2 million badly from Ch10 in order for his foundation to make that one 'big final cheque' on March 18 (a few days after IACGMOOH finishes), as listed on the website. Where else do you think this money is going to come from?

The fact that Warne will never escape is why he abruptly closed down the charity if he (or management) had supposedly done nothing wrong, let alone do it just before leaving the country to take a large sum of money? He will be hoping to last as long as he can in South Africa, because he won't be escaping the inevitable media ambush that's coming his way when he arrives back in Australia.

Surely he only said it to get himself a headline?

Yes, teachers should do better - but harsh to hold them accountable for Warne being a moron

In what little fairness there is to offer to Warnie here, panspermia is actually a very serious hypothesis.

Of course in no way, shape or form does what he said resemble it, but still....

The aliens built the pyramids one is also a good one. If he could be bothered flying over to Egypt he could see many of the earlier fails by the ancient egyptions. There is a pyramid called the bent pyramid which is an inbetween pyramid where they hadn't quite got it right.

It is clearly a developed technology. Its like comparing a mobile phone from 1991 to one from this year. Shane Warne is a real plonker.

 yeah, kind of different (panspermia - actually, I can imagine Warne chuckling in a Beavis and Butthead way if that was mentioned)

Wonder if he's checked the flying spaghetti monster - he'll like the "touched by his noodly appendage" bit, and miss the irony

Remember that the pyramids arent too difficult to build from a theoretical POV. Obviously we dont know for sure the exact method the egyptions used but ancient humans were mostly as smart as we are. Just not as knowledgeable about the world.

I think they probably used a very simple example of Pythagorean triangles to cut 90 degree angles. I dont think they fully understood the concept of a2 + b2 = c2 but they did know of the 3,4,5 triangle and one can use that to make square bases.

EDIT

I wont nerd up the thread but I just find it oddly disrespectful of humans that Warne a man who could sure spin a ball but isnt exactly a brain surgeon thinks ancient egyptions werent clever enough to build a pyramid. They have the exact same brain you have buddy.
