I remember 2011 very well and it was pretty clear to me that the fade coincided with Bennett's announcement (or rumours) that he was leaving.

It was quite a shocking reversal of form as during the first half of the season I thought they were even better than they were in 2010.
Favourites for the minor premiership.

No but it involved another players gf/ wife and it was brought up at half time. Look at the results in 2011 and see if you can guess which game it was. We never recovered
there are two golden rules:
1. No text on match day.
2. No mentioning wives/GFs at halftime on match day.

Cool, but now I'm really curious about the other player involved. I don't expect you to text that type of stuff on a public forum, but a PM would be appreciated.

We also saw what the Warriors did in the game when Canberra celebrated Croker's 300th game for the club. Smashed them to make it a night to forget score wise.

Sloan is going to have one of his biggest tests tonight as Shaun Johnson's kicking game has been amazing. The wingers too will be tested heaps. I cannot see Saints winning based on the Warriors great form but if Saints do win I will say it will be one of the greatest victories in our proud history under these circumstances. The win will make everyone start looking over their shoulder and take note that the Saints are definitely on the way up. If they do win this without Hunt it will send an even bigger statement that Saints are not a one man team that all think they are.

The forwards are really being talked about as needing replacement by us here on the forum and in the media. I feel they are under the most pressure for next season so if they want to stay in Flanno's plans they really need to perform over the remaining games and no better start than tonight.

Over to you boys. Make us proud.

Yeah, I’ve tipped Warriors after the last week’s shenanigans. Normally I’d lock us in for a win over the Warriors at WIN.

I’m starting to waver. Am I going mad?

Ive heard second hand from a player in that team what caused the blowup in 2011 where we went from Premiership favourites to nothing and it’s directly related to Darius Boyd. The fans booed him for the wrong reasons but if they knew what he’d done the booing would have been even louder. It destroyed the dressing room and we barely won again after it happened. After i was told this, ive had nothing but contempt for him. We should have won our 2 nd comp that year but it died at half time in one match.
South’s match?
