The thing that really feks me off with Chad is that when he does run with the ball in hand, it is almost always sideways - he really needs to straighten up his runs to be a threat.
He actually looked scared to get tackled against the Panthers, hence the 'chuck it to anyone' style....
Fifita can't be fit, he's been awful all year. He hasn't got the mental capacity to play injured - tries to take shortcuts - dreadful.

That's because he doesn't know how to attack, doesnt understand the purpose of a half engaging the defence before going behind to a sweeping fullback or 5/8th. He has always been like this , doesnt know any other way.

Fifita is my favourite player but this year has been bad, his knee is f**ked there's not doubting that. It's obviously affected his leg drive, no confidence in pushing off of it. Also used wrong, too busy tackling his arse off when he needs to be put attacking forward

Fifita tackles? The only time I see him is when he is third man in for the flop, must painfull for the ball carrier. I would like to see it banned. In the NFL ,when the ball carriers knees touch the ground all play stops.

All of the middles are struggling. They were good against Souths but ordinary for the past 2 months.

Gall is a warrior and doing his best. Can't ask more from him at the point in his career. Carried the team to beat the Cows.
Fifita is busted and trying too hard leading to poor plays. His lateral movement has gone with the bad knee.
Woods never gets out of a trot. Goes forward ok but slow ptb and very lazy in defence.
Prior played well against Souths but is a shadow of the 2016 version.
Williams shows potential but is making crucial errors and lateral movement is leading to missed tackles.
BHU is a shining light. His motor has really come on with more NRL games.
Boogs is not the player he was.

100%. I couldn't be more dissappointed in Fifita, what has happened to this bloke, he has the mentality of a 3 year old on the field.

Yep

Plenty using the injury as an excuse & that may be partly to blame for his poor form.

Stupid errors is a result of poor application. 3 year old mentality causes poor application.

Just wish he’d grow up!!

The more you are in a game, the more chance you are of making errors. Im pretty happy with Fifitas 30 tackles at least, every game, with maybe 1 miss, & jsut the mass of his body on top slowing down the play the balls. To say he hasnt got the mental capacity is a joke. The guy has played busted, for msot of his career, including the GF, plays huge minutes & is a threat every time.
Hasnt been his best year, but hed be the first prop bought if they all went on the open market at the same time.

Spot on analysis of our pack.

I was an ardent critic of Sharon at other clubs.
A media darling.
I now view him thru bwb eyes and still marvel and how soft he plays. Self preservation to the max.

Our aging pack will be another 12 months older in 2020.

Yep - I can understand the Fifita hate but he looks and acts like someone both physically and mentally shot. Woods on the other hand, just limp. Runs or more like dances into the line and looks of the pace. Bench player at best

Woods seems to have a lot of strength as he pushes through tackles from a slow speed.

Be good to see him run it bloody harder to begin with!

Wasn’t it a bone in his foot?

Semantics anyway...he’s had plenty of rest & now a few games to get up to speed.

Up to speed is something he’s not doing.

But woods played for Australia and he’s a loveable larrikin.... just like Phil Bailey on both counts

Absolute tripe from Chad. Real hard to look good when the middles get bullied and you keep getting the ball with the defence in your grill. I recall a game in either 2016 or 17 against the Tigers when he won it with a chip and chase- that seems his go to play. It’s worked; once. In fairness though he can’t straighten out on the back of that go forward when he’s trying to get early ball to the backline.

Fifita needs time with a psychologist. He’s made so many dumb errors this year he’s second and third guessing himself.

Too many heroes in this team. Too many heroes in this thread.

We are all hero’s here! We are still here. It’s all right for players and coaches ,they have it easy. They can move on or retire. We are stuck here ,loyal Sharkies still fueding and bickering critics, move this player ,change the coach, tackle harder ,run faster ect.
Keep it up heroes!
