It's a bit of a joke that Roy didn't get a ban. You can't stand at the wicket and shout 'f**king embarrassment' at an umpire regardless of the decision. Especially given the game wasn't even close to being tight, so he can't use the excuse that the tension of the moment got to him.

No he shouldn’t but I am going to say a ban isn’t a fitting punishment. He got fined the ref was piss weak nobody died.
Is there not a rule for trying for trying to con the umpire? How many games are we banning the Ozzie’s for?

The rest of the tournament should be about right. A 12 month suspension would be OTT.

I’m not saying it’s acceptable, I’m saying the punishment fits the offence. Had he not been 100% correct in what he said I don’t doubt they would have banned him.
