jericho in his wcw days was the best

ripping off goldbergs entrrance with festus and the jerichoholic ninja

putting so much crap on dean malenko and saying he was the man 1004 moves

teasing such as tony sceeavone and gene mean

tv titles were the best matches with him around

The only downside to WCW was Goldberg - you couldn't get a more bland champion than him (other than Hogan.) He had two f**king moves and nobody was ever ready for them  The only thing more predictable than a Goldberg win via a spear inside 1 minute was a Goldberg comeback after going through 10 chairs and surviving a shotgun blast to the chest.

Nothing beat Harlem Heat, greatest tag team ever.

do you remember Slamboree 1998... they had a cruiserweight royal rumble to see who would fight Jericho for the title later that night... it ended with Ciclope and Rey Psycosis as the last 2... then Ciclope said something to psycosis and he eliminated himself.

then Ciclope pulls off his mask and it was dean malenko.

WCW/nWo Revenge was the game that got me into Professional Wrestling, so when I saw all those personalities come to life on television it made for great viewing.

I'd hate to say it but Goldberg was my favourite superstar when I began watching. He just had the look and his moves seemed so credible and aside from Rhyno nobody else has been able to pull off the spear with that much ferocity.

To answer some questions...

Dean Malenko retired in 2001. He's now apart of the backstage staff, you see him come out and break up fights all the time.

Yea TNA was looking at bringing Buff in earlier this year.

That match from Slamboree 1998 was on WWE classics today. They have been doing a cruiserweight month with next week being the last match. It has been a nice trip down WCW memory lane.

The rise and fall of WCW Dvd is due out very soon also which should be interesting.

btw - Vampiro ruled. I was so cut when he got injured and didn't tour with them in 2000

Miller would've made an awesome manager, I never understood why they kept trying to take him down the wrestling route...maybe it was Bischoff's obsession with martial arts?

the master of 1004 holds

Jericho brought a computer printout to the ring and attempted to read off all of his holds. The producers cut to a commercial, but he was still reading when they came back.
The funniest part is that he kept padding his total of holds by re-using “armbar.”
if you took out "armbar" he only knew 9 moves iirc
