Ivan did untold damage to the club when we were in a very vulnerable position.

This was just after we had spent huge sums on suspect signings at his request and everyone had emotionally invested and believed in him.

He made us promises he didn’t keep and betrayed us.

I could understand and forgive if it was for a good reason. But it wasn’t.

He has cost us a fortune and broken our hearts.

So long as Ivan is in the game, every wt member and supporter is entitled to feel upset with him.

We won’t forget and we won’t forgive.

I hope he has a good and happy life, leaving the game worse for his engagement with it.
. I agree ..there’s a chance Penrith could drop out of contention over the next 2 weeks having just lost against bulldogs then playing sharks and then broncos the next two weeks - they are currently 8th equal with us with a 20 Point worse differential than us ...
We play bulldogs and Manly who are hell tough both of them but we have had a good taste of top 4 teams who although we didn’t beat we would have benefited from espaecially that Easts game where we were looking amazing with 30 to play then let it slip with a bad tackle.. especially with our new high tempo play which is unsettling teams.....no I meant you and legend 21 both have big images type writing that should have a theme song attached .... u both obviously have an ease with words both hardcore league fans and u both seem to cut through the party line stuff with your opinions at times ...Which I like... although sometimes longer than my beauties which can be hard to get through

We play bulldogs and Manly who are hell tough both of them but knowing us we will beat the tough teams, especially with our high tempo play which amongst other things is unsettling teams.....no I meant your floral expansive writing that should have a theme song attached u and legend 21 both obviously have an ease with words both hardcore league fans and u both seem to cut through the party line stuff with your opinions at times ...Its all good reading although sometimes longer than my beauties which is hard to get through at times

Thank you and for your posts as well, which I read and enjoy.

For mine, the conscience of our side, the heart and soul of our club ....is embedded in our forwards.

They fight well above their weight in most games.

I really haven’t quite got my head around it yet!

Madge and our pack have a rare and ethereal rugby league connection. They listen to him, they perform, they are inspirational.

I wanted to say that Thommos suicide tackle was one of the bravest and heroic efforts I have ever seen on a footy field.

In that single moment, he represented our entire season, the efforts of our abandoned, unglamorous, unfancied and mixed ability squad with a $3m cap handicap to get this far ...and who we are as a club!

Cheers I love Thompson ..he’s up there with the most fancied players in the competition for tries with 9...same as Ponga better than Fergusson he’s too small to get injured long term..Easier for him to score tries from fullback yet he’s only been there part of season so add at least a couple to his total .I think fullback is our least worry. ..https://www.nrl.com/stats/players/?competition=111&season=2019&stat=38

I don’t think we can beat manly, but I just don’t want any injuries.

We should put 23 on the dogsters. Our forwards will snuff them out early.

Our whole spine is fizzing - as good as anything out there ...The dogs have got a good coach and a massively improved team we will be lucky to beat them by 1, if we can just keep growing as we have been the sky’s the limit ..DWZ ‘s ignoring us should motivate

I just hope Maloney’s gets a week for his leg trip ...That could be the sealer for the end of Penriths season...and would be poetic justice but more importantly would help clear our path to the 8 a bit

Looks like a lot of people (including myself, and quiet obviously them) bought into the sharks hype after last week. Them getting dusted up tonight is good for us, it means there are still 2 spots available. Win tomorrow night and we’re in the box seat out of the 5 teams competing for them.

That’s right Vic but the fight back helped the Tigers as well. Panthers for & against could have got down to about -45 or better but ended up at - 63.

Tigers have to keep winning and they certainly need a win by a good margin to keep Brisbane and the Panthers at bay.

True however it would also have brought back the Sharks, who are +50 ahead of us, so TBH I wouldn’t have minded a 20 point panther win

Subjecting yourself to a meth sniffer win along with Gould commentating is a painful experience. I never thought I could hate a team more than Storm.

What was with all the ex Penriff people on the panels tonight ? I was at the pub but Gould and Fitler were on the nein coverage, and heard Griffin and Alexander were on the Fox coverage

Commentary is hard enough to listen to without ex players/coaches riding their dicks the whole game

Manly just got a lot tougher next week at Brookvale...they don't lose too many in a row. Really didn't want the Warriors to get up tonight so the Dogs tomorrow just became crucial.

Reakon it comes down to tigers v sharks last game.

Assuming Tigers beat Dogs.

I reckon most people are thinking we lose to Manly and win all the others to finally break the finals drought.

I don't expect the boys to win tonight, but if we put the Dogs to the sword, it will make a believer out of me.

Gould was unbearable; coaching the Panther's from the commentary box - now I know how Queenslanders feel.
Last night's results were a gift: Manly having the wind sucked from their sails and Cronulla's streak tackled to the turf before it even got over the fence.
Our future is in our own hands, we could even finish with a home final. This much is certain: we must, must, must win tonight.

Never ever confident when playing the Dogs, but you would think we must be red hot favourites to get the bacon. I just hope we get a fair go from the whistle blower. I think we should win by 12 plus but the wind will make conditions very hard for both teams and it could go either way.

On paper the Dogs are not bad but do have a very i experienced spine. Fingers crossed we turn up and win by a margin
