What a bunch of pea hearts out there today. This shit team today made me realize we simply cannot be a top 4 side until we show heart every game. Not just once in a blue moon every game.

I thought we generally played better than the last couple of weeks, and had a lot of intensity. We turned up with a point to make, just seemed incapable of converting the opportunities into points. Hopefully it just means the Sharks are a defensive powerhouse and that we are getting better.

I think we stopped the slide and started playing better. Not well enough of course, but it was more encouraging. Of course we really needed to win that game to have a good chance of making the finals, so it is a very damaging loss.

If we had Johnson we win easy. Not because he's the best thing since sliced bread or because he always plays well, but because he's absolutely crucial to this side and we were lost without him.

Look if we played Melbourne for 24 rounds we will be in the finals simply because we lift and lift against certain teams but when it comes to a depleted side and playing at home we drop to an average pea hearted side that always makes things more difficult than they are.

I was cringing every time we played the ball with speed. We looked clueless and praying that things will stick. It was f**ken ugly and if anyone mentions that at least we were physical again i'll have to stab them. This game is a mental one too :crazy:

Again, I don't know what you're talking about regarding this game as it was one of our gutsiest, toughest efforts of the season.

The only thing gutsy out there was Robson. He made up for that slow last tackle kick back in the early round where we stole it with Johnson magic but jesus Robson marked Matulino all day.

We had Johnson out but they have a rookie in Bird and a so called over the hill Robson as their halves. Wow are we really going to go there?

We are not finals material. If we cannot win without Johnson then we are a 1 guy team and that is my problem with this team.

Had them beat in pretty much every other respect.. did really well to get lots of repeats etc and it's not like the Sharks are a bad team- they've been going really, really well.

That first no try was a little dodgy too I guess. You could make an argument for the second one, but I thought that call was probably fair enough - the first one didn't look like Kata touched it at all though. A tiny bit of luck and we would have had that one. We didn't get it.

Yep - and Sharks should have beaten us the first game too

Halves not so much the problem for me - lack of intensity in outside backs - no interest/ability/organisation on defence

Pack has gone well most the year, we've lost games like this with Johnson on the park so I am not buying that...

Townsend is muddddddddddddddddddddddddddd - no team will win with him in the halves for any sustainable period. Tomkins is easily the most overrated player in the NRL. The commentators will him to be great but he is not even in the NRL top 10.

And the true reason they lose is because they are dumb footballers. You can see they lack vision and footy smarts. Lets forget talk of aiming to be a top 4 team - this team is not even top 8 material.

Mate you make more sense than some here. Troll or no troll. I don't give a shit if you are using us as comedic relief. We deserve it. I cannot comprehend how low some peoples expectations are if they accept this as a good effort. I wanted to go and chill out and see if I can see any positives from this abysmal display but the protection league on here makes it hard to let it fly. We got our other bogey team in St George next week at the cake tin which is near my house and I won't turn up they don't deserve my money or support this time round. I will most probably be back to my usual self and in denial like the rest if we come right but it's looking pretty dark at the end of the 2015 tunnel. I may smile once I see the our own Big 3 for 2016 in RTS, Johnson and Luke in our uniform. But March 2016 is so far away
