You make it sound like it's not okay to be angry or sad for that matter. Here's a tip for you. Watch Inside Out that teaches immature or people whom think that you have to be happy (Joy) all the time even if you watch something that disappoints you.

Mate go uppercut yourself. It's bad form on your part to throw depression into the mix when so many of our youth and leaguies commit suicide over people being so insensitive

I've had depression, which is why I know from first-hand experience that keeping things in perspective is important for mental heath. It's not healthy to get so angry over a game.

Wheeled, ideally you would have had a couple of sleeps before responding so strongly to this latest upsetting defeat.

Like I did. That week I cracked I was very close to getting on the forum straight away, which would have been a big mistake!

Thoughts with ya tonight!

!

Also, I don't remember you berating anyone else because they weren't as upset as you thought they should be.

I get Auckland point though Blair it's not going to make me stop supporting this team I haven't cracked like this since 99 but fans have their ways to cope I can tell you all that I will be okay this is just my way of venting. If it's too harsh for some to stomach I apologize it's just this team is the one I care for the most. I have read everyone's dark posts too and I genuinely care when they express themselves. Yes it's just a game I tell some passionate fans this also. Today's loss just crept on me even I'm surprised I cracked

Yeah all that build up didn't do me wonders again I apologize

No worries, mate. We've all been there. I came back from my crack up post a better, stronger Warriors supporter! I'm not in anyway dispassionate, but just more of a realist about how unpredictable sport is. As fans we have no control over how events unfold.

You'd think after 20 years we'd have sorted this Warriors set up out, but no, we're still the wonderfully unpredictable unit we are! When THAT moment finally arrives though, make sure you're there with the rest of us, who've suffered so long with ya! We all deserve it.

Saw the game at the park...thought our forwads batted hard and compared to the more experience pack held their own..agree Chad too slow and sloppy passing..
Tomkins a $1mill man a dud!..

If we win a spot in the 8 for 2015 I guess it's a feat despite our injuries for this year. Mate I'd be there for us all if we win the whole thing. The Warriors are an addiction that I need to control a bit better as some have pointed out lol. Yeah 20 years of unpredictability has there highs and lows I hope we all get some type of payoff in the near future for the calm loyal fans and the crazy ones like me lol

Next week it is :)

Bit harsh on Chad. Thought he was one of your better players today but hey if you want to let him go early, we'll happily take him.

I agree with the sentiments of the thread, but this was a weird game to bring it up. Defensiy we were bloody good especially in that first half. In regards to the manly game where we were shit from the get go even before Johnson went down.

Not sure what game you saw. Chad was actually really solid at the start of the year but today, he was abysmal. Overall he has been good, but had a bit of mare today. He doesn't suit being the 'leading' half it seems.

This this this. Chad was gunning it for the first 10 games (averaging 2.8 tries, linebreaks or assists per game - was running 2nd or 3rd after JT in halves for a while there), but the subsequent 9 have been bad (0.33 from same categories). His tackle break and offload counts are also down (well below half) over the same periods, but no real change in error/penalty rate - which would be expected if the reduction of his attacking numbers was mostly down to getting less ball/trying less things because SJ started to turn it on. In other words there isn't a change in team playing style or other on-field factor mitigating the drop off... Chad has just completely lost it.

I do like him though. Hope he goes well at the Sharks next year.

Your coach asked one player...too run the team around the park, be the chief kicker in play, be the main running weapon, be the main ball player, kick goals and defend like robbo.

Anyways.....the team will adapt, turns out works for us, we get Chad who will at least have a few weeks to actually run the team and not be second fiddle....to the everything man.

You all know I rate Johnson highly...you ask too much too often of him and then get completely lost without him.

I can only hope next year, they spread the load.

I fear it will take Stacey to be in charge.

Cronulla are a decent enough side, so on reflection I am not too upset

Then, looking at our run home Dragons (h), Tigers (a), Cowboys (h), Penrith (a) and Bulldogs (a) we are still in with a shot - only the Cowboys (notoriously poorer away) are a top 4 team, and only the Dogs can claim to be in any form (who the hell can tell with the Tigers)

Obviously we're borderline, but Cows aside so are the rest in our draw - so, puncher's chance?

All I had to do was look at the team sheet to not get upset by the result. Had nothing to do with effort IMO, but people often get their expectations too high and over rate our talent on what they could do rather than what they actually produce.

Our team is simply not that good yet that they can consistently win or have the strength/composure to grind out these tough ones.

He's arguably the second most potent attacking halve in the comp. Why wouldn't you base your attack around him? Chad showed yesterday that he isn't capable. I'm not an advocate of designing a game plan around the possibility you might lose your No.1 guy to injury. And as I said in another thread, there's really only one team in the comp who could lose their best halve and still be a premiership threat. So it's not unique.

Tomkins needed to be our best yesterday too and he was nowhere near it. $800k a year buys you a good set of sprigs doesn't it?

And we'll deserve to be in the 8 if we earn enough competition points, and vice versa. It's not like teams on the edge of the 8 don't lose games and put in sub-par performances like we do.
