We must avoid another Wooden Spoon at all costs

Guys - what went wrong last weekend? No wonder star players dont want to ign with us at the moment. I know the Tigers are a good side - but so are we. We have some great up and coming players. We just need two or three star players to help bolster our talent.

Two weekends ago and our great win and Newcastle's loss meant we looked to avoid the spoon this season. The look what happened last weekend? Gee I hope we still can avoid another owdden spoon. All these clowns in Newcastle are talking about how their proud tradition wont allow them to cop the spoon this year, and in Newcastle Clint Newton and Andrew Johns are saying how they are playing fror pride and there is no way they will get the spoon. We cant control how well they play the next six rounds.

The Rabbitohs have got far more pride and longer tradition that those loers in Newcastle. They deserve the spoon this year. We never went 11 games without a win. We need to win 3 more games this season to make it impossible for us to get the spoon.

I hope Souths don't get it...but when someone like Andrew Johns adamantly says "the knights wont get the spoon this year", it makes you take notice. I think Newcastle have a few more wins left in them, so the Rabbits still need to win a game or two to avoid it, imo.

Souths deffinately have to win one more game. I think the Knights can beat Manly, Warriors and the Sharks. That will give them 16 points. So we need one plus the bye to get 17 points. If we happen to win two games i think we will beat Penrith home.

Correct and the year after that, If people like yourself can't see that Souths are rebuilding then they might just get a shock come 2007 and 2008.

Just had a look at Souths team for the Bulldogs game. Looks reasonably strong. If that team stays on the field for the rest of the year you won't get the spoon.
