That was something I used to find irritating because when you're new, you don't know who is who.

Yes, most didn't like it at first. I am open to suggestions though -- provided people didn't get confused by the name change.

I was thinking 'The Doctor' might be a good one -- as in Dr Who. As I said, people would forget me though, and we can't have that. (Note: you will notice that I'm not as active as I used to be though). Some have twice or three times as many contributions as me.

I average about 10-11 posts per day, and this is the only forum I post on.

I wouldn't call that addicted.

Whoever finds it cool or tough to bag out and insult people, whether they be new or old to the forum, must be compensating for some kind of personal issues they have. If you are one of these people then id suggest maybe getting some kind of help outside in the real world.

I suppose you could look at it like that. thegame_78 was stating his initial welcome, or lack there-of (maybe that's why he hasn't bothered to post much here?) Roopy put this thread up because of a concern that members (new and old) have been leaving this forum because of being continually bagged by some members. If people want to pick on other forummers there is a forum designed exclusively for them (The Fight Club)

Roopy put this thread up because of a concern that members (new and old) have been leaving this forum because of being continually bagged by some members.

It's the reason people left the old forum too. I like a bit of healthy debate, so there is no suggestion we all have to agree. But some people just need to take some chill-pills... the worry is that it's some of the more prominent and experienced members who are doing much of the baggings.

I don't care how long you've been here -- it's just much more pleasant for everyone if there is a bit of respect... seems pretty straightforward to me, but some people (who I must say are older than me, worryingly) are acting in a somewhat moronic fashion.

I suppose, especially if all your posts are two sentences long. Give I average about four or five sentences per post, it probably means that while I might do a smaller number of posts, I'm probably on here more often during the day. It probably makes me more addicted. :shock: :lol:
