For scenario 3, we're covered for the moment with Dykes, Witt and young Tim Smith.

Leaves us with 2 and 1.

Number 2 should be Morrison. Or Robinson. Morrison would be a better signing as he works as hard as Hindy and can also break a game open.

Now, for our most important case.

We need a quality centre. Roberts is NOT a centre.

Tahu is going to Manly.

Tate and Cross have re-signed with their clubs.

Monaghan, Heggarty and Graham are the names of players I keep hearing are available.

And then there's Lyon.

I sure hope Jamie comes back next year, because with each passing week it appears more and more likely that Riddell will be our only quality signing.

I'm buggered why people want the turd back- he walked out on us and left the supporters, coaching staff, management and players in the lurch. Not once did he come out and stick up for us publicly when the media and Horse head were sinking the boot in- as far as i'm concerned I hope I never see him in a Parra jersey again. Sign a quality back that wants to play football (easier said than done), or hope some of the promising juniors come on.

IMO, some of the games that we missed by a few points would have been very different with Lyon on the field. While at the time I agreed with his decision as it was first reported I can't say I do now. However, its now a past issue and should be left there. ;-)

But isn' that Smith's fault?....he seems to have lost ANY adventure in his tactics - lest he be lambasted for it...and he has retreated back into his shell, and made your side VERY predicatble!
